Of course he's washed up. 33 td's, 7 picks, over 4000 yards passing, 12-4 in the season, only 4 td's in the playoff game and no pics and playing for the NFC Championship. Good grief, he sucks. Just ask anyone who hates him, they will tell you. Lol.
I bet the Vikings are glad they got stuck with this no good washed up QB.

Why is nobody talking about the points at the time of the so called "running up the score". Cowboys needed 4 touchdowns to win, if the Vikings kick a field goal, they still only need 4 touchdowns to win. Going for the TD was the only option, to put it at 5 touchdowns. Crazy things can happen with 2 minutes left. Taking a knee would have been foolish.

Hey, you forget that we lost at Arizona which was in a dome last time I checked. I was there, it was loud, we sucked!

Hopefully New Orleans will be a different story...

Skol Vikings!!

Ted - That is very true, but AZ's stadium is not turf, it's grass. So even though it's indoors, it's still like playing outdoors.

Maddmike - I agree, who wants a washed up QB that ended the season with a rating of 107 and then starts the playoffs with a 130?

We went there before and beat them, we can do it again. Brett looked like a damn kid out there last weekend. Saw a couple pictures that I just could not believe, it is past "pumped" and might even be past "jacked", He had the smell of blood in his eyes. Going to be a great game, Saints don't have crybabies like Dallas does.

If I also recall correctly, the Vikings had just had a 3-home game streak.
They had just finished playing Lions, Seahawks, and Bears at home. This was their first road game with a grass field since Lambeau field. The dome had the roof shut (Preference by K. Warner), but I still saw a few players slipping.

IIRC, Favre won his Superbowl in the Superdome.

We can also see more Viking fan-support than we may think at the Superdome. Favre's home town is a nearby state.

Taking a knee would have been foolish, why give the ball away with time left and just be happy with what we have, this is the playoffs and it's about damn time this team showed some killer instincts... Brooking here's a tissue

Did you mean Jets because of their defense? Last I checked, Favre didn't really have any ex-teammates with the Colts, let alone any who thought he was washed up. God, how people hire these people as sportswriters.... Either research your subject, or read over your work instead of a spellcheck

Vikings have done well vs. NO
heres the franchise stats:
18-7 regular season
8-5 @ NO
10-2 @ home
2-0 playoffs @ home
and now for Favre:
3-2 career
2-1 @ NO
1-1 @ GB
the Vikes and Favre have been there b4 and I'm sure they're looking forward to going back!!!!!
