Vick entered the NFL in 2001, didnt play much that year. 2002 he took the Falcons to the playoffs and handed the Green Bay Packers their first ever home playoff loss. I saw that game and it was pretty much Michael Vick that beat the Packers. 2003 missed 11 games due to fractured right fibula. 2004 Michael Vick took the Falcons to the NFC championship game. 2005-2006 werent very good years for the Falcons but Vick did make the pro bowl in 2005.
If you look at ANY hall of fame QB's stats, Dan Marino, John Elway, Brett Favre, Joe Montana. They ALL have a couple years that their numbers and team records werent very good.
To say the Falcons looked like crap WITH Vick is pretty ignorant. He is the best quarterback the Falcons have had since Steve Bartkowski 1975-1984...
That's right, You summed it up PERFECT!

We are allready loosing games starting off. This is going to be the worse season. I was a fan until Vick was suspended. I don't even have an interest in the games.(too me they are boring now)... Maybe everyone will see the picture now.... Vick would've ran the ball more and made it happen.
Signed #~1 mike vick fan...
vick will have all the ball handling he can stand behind bars and were not talking football, oh and running! he'll be doing plenty of that to, from the other inmates, he just won't be getting paid for it!!!!!!!!!!

The Falcons are horrible! They wern't much better with Vick. He is not that good. They still haven't had back to back winning seasons with him. His departure is the best thing that could have happend to the falcons. They need an offensive line, a whole new defense and some recievers that can catch. Harrington is not that bad if you can protect him and if a guy could actually catch the ball.
Hey blank, why not go after a trade for Jamarcus Russell, he is still unsigned and I heard they might want to trade him.
You miss the point, Vick brought excitement to the game. Joey Harrington does not bring excitement the game. He is rather boring. When people come to games they seek winners but they also seek excitement. No one likes a dull game.

This is about the Falcon's! Not Vick! He is gone. True fans will give support. The Fans, Coaches, Owner and the City of Atlanta needs to stand behind their teams (not just the Falcon's) in good and bad times.

Who knows what the rest of the season holds? But I can guarantee you it will be better and help improve Atlanta's "fair weather friends" image, if we continue to support our team. If the team goes to another City, who's fault will it be?

This is what happens when you ignore the warning signs.... The Falcons should remember a famous quote from one of my favorite movies: "You will pay the price for your lack of vision"
