Luck shines on Chargers

Full story: San Gabriel Valley Tribune

The San Diego Chargers got lucky. Even better, they've got Philip Rivers. After their onside kick bounced off Chiefs wideout Dwayne Bowe's chest and Kassim Osgood recovered for San Diego, Rivers needed just ...

I'm sorry, but I have no faith in the kicker. He has lost key games in the past. remember NY Jet game, 1 out of 3 kicks would have won the playoff game. He missed all 3. NE game, he missed again and this season, I see his kickoffs land on the 20 and 30 yard lines instard of deep into the endzone. Am I the only one that sees this?

The chargers are the best. Just i i think they are going to lose, they come back and win. Last year aganist the titans, and this year aganist thte cheifs. But i am disappointed in the recore, they are the most underperforming team in the NFL. They have so much talent. But the chargers have a good shot at making the playoffs
P.S. Any haters or fans want to email me at vpujara@gmail.com. I will gladly respond to all email :)

i'm with you jim. although his carrer-best 57yd fg against the bucs a few days back was a pleasant surprise. kaeding's kickoffs are shitty. but i think we're stuck because i doubt there can be room reserved on the 53 man roster for a kickoff specialist. it looks like were stuck with the slightly above average, albeit semi-choking nick kaeding...

go bolts!

Hey Bro- I see that too, and while I had ish with Kaeding- he has a pretty remarkable stat that I saw one game, he is like one of the highest rated kickers of all time. That being said- I think the Chargers coaches know that he is pretty crappy beyond 40, and that is not because he can't do it, he is just a choker-

2. His kickoffs suck- there is no doubt about it. It pisses me off that he can't kick it into the endzone. But often that is a problem because if they run it out it creates more space for the returner and it allows a greater number of long runbacks.(that is how I sell myself on his crappy kickoffs)

3. I have not really liked kaeding for a long time- but I think we could do a lot worse, and if you really look at it he is probably one of the top 5 young kickers in the game no doubt.

I think anyone who has been around for the Chargers remembers that John Carney was straight NAILS and should have spent the remainder of his career a SAN DIEGO CHARGER.

boo to the Chargers organization for ever letting him go.

What pisses me off is that im a plumber & a know what the problem is... So what da hell are they paying the coaches for?????? Come on Dean break out the check book one more time, lord knows you have it after raising the prices like you did at the stadium! before i could bring my Whole family, now im lucky just to be able to pay for parking & a ticket!!
