It appears Brady Quinn should change his name to Greedy Quinn. His holdout seems very ill-advised and arrogant. Right now, he's much closer to being a Bum than a Brown.

It seems the theme of this year, looking past the holdout, is fire Romeo. The sports writers of America seem to believe the Browns must come out and win big early. If you take a look at the schedule, the right tackle out the 1st four games, 1st round QB hold out and all those injuries with miracle recoveries that just need some time, then I think it's in the cards that Romeo will be fired by the first BI week.

However, this team looks like it has it's best chance at success after that first 4 or 5 games.

I dont think they are gonna go anywhere with either of they qbs that they have now. They should of gotten culpepper or green when they didnt have a team who wanted them.

I agree. Culpepper is done. Green might have been a good choice. Hell, I say put Cribbs back there and see what he can do. What have we got to lose at this point?

PHIL SAVAGE AND ROMEO CRENNEL , AL LERNER PLEASE PULEEEEZE GO OUT AND TRADE FOR A QB. A QUALITY VETERAN QB WHO IS NOT OVER THE HILL AND INJURED SOMEBODY LIKE BYRON LEFTWICH, HECK EVEN SEE IF YOU CAN GET DREW BLEDSOE OUT OF RETIREMENT. BILLY VOLECK PERHAPS. BRING IN AARON BROOKS TO SEE IF HE IS MUCH BETTER THAN FRYE AND ANDERSON , AT LEAST HE IS MOBILE ,EXPERIENCED AND HAS A STRONG ARM MAYBE HE WILL FIT THIS SYSTEM AND BECOME A BETTER QB. I MEAN HES ALREADY BETTER THAN FRYE AND ANDERSON COME ON NOW , DARN THIS IS SO PATHETIC IS RIDICULOUS. HURRY UP BEFORE IT GETS TO LATE. A veteran QB can learn this system quicker than the two scrub quarterbacks we have now, cutt dorsey and the loser between Anderson and Frye or maybe trade Frye for a draft pick. But you can not go on another day with these two Buffoons at QB. They are nice guys but nice guys with not much talent at this point and nice guys with no talent make you finish last ie 3-13 or 4-12 what ever we finished last year in Cleveland. I mean these two guys are so very very weak they will make this team flop from the very first drive against Pittsburgh to the last possession of the season. Somebody much better them has to be available NOW , come on Phil and Romeo dont LET US BROWNS FANS GO INTO THIS SEASON with these two no talents at QB its a reciepe for getting fired and I hope the Browns fans finally dont attend the games if we dont produce winning and playoff seasons. Its time for Fans to keep there money in there wallets , checking and savings accounts and use it for something constructive than for a Quarterbackless loosing team, sure root for them but on TV not at the gate if they dont get a quality veteran QB who will pass for over 3,400 yds and 21 TDS and low ints . Its doable so Phil get it done. We have a quality running back in Jamal Lewis and I believe this line will do much better in the run game , like I said before if the Browns look bad in Pre season they definately will look bad and loose in the regular season, Pittsburgh looked ready against the Saints. So if we dont get over the hump we WILL BE UNDER THE HUMP come Oct at 0-4

To Newanarchy in Irving Tx , come on now my man Culpepper is definately not a has been. Yes he does have to show he is at full health from his terrible injury 2 or 3 years ago but other than that he has skills , has been all pro for 2 years or so and just as recent as 2004 I believe he Threw for 4,500 yds or so . Now Greens concussion last season puts him in a similar boat as Culpepper both when healthy can win and pass very well. The Browns definately should not sit content with Frye and Anderson they just dont have what it takes right now. They are very very very lame and sad QBs at the Pro Level and in regards to the other QBS in the AFC NORTH. Them at QB is a sad sad miserable Joke to all of Cleveland and every Browns fans alive or dead.

We're stuck with Frye and Anderson (and Dorsey) and Quinn's holdout is irrelevant. He shouldn't start anyway.

A good line and a good running game will be able to bail them out anyway. Let's pray that Jamal doesn't miss a game and the line stays healthy.

This year is about growth. Next year they add to the d-line and maybe even RB/WR depth and we are looking at very good team.

You will NEVER be looking at a good team!! It's the Browns!!!!! Give them 22 #1 picks and you still won't win the division! Hold out Brady!!! You are risking your life if you play!

u need to pic the quarterback with the most heart, the one that shows up earlier and stays later. Eventually he will be the better outcome.

This year is about growth???? So was 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006. Most first round picks from those earlier years are probably looking to move on after this season is over.

At this point, why even bother signing him? It would be the biggest waste of money in professional sports history since the Chargers signed Ryan Leaf.

Browns have no QB worth his salt, and Brady Quinn isn't going to sign anytime soon if at all this season. He would be better to go through the draft again in 2008 and get with a team that wants to win.

Browns will be 0-16 this season. They are too cheap to pay for good talent like Brady Quinn who deserves top 10 money.

Steelers will be 14-2 and make/win the Superbowl while the Browns talk about next season and beyond again.

Go black & gold in 2007 !!!

One bad apple spoils the bunch, so instead of begging Mr. Quinn to please play, let him go!! The Browns should be able to find a decent vetersn QB qb that still has some fire left and a winner's heart! Frye and they other guy are both done-at best give them a good send off and move on! OldManGrump, 0-16 is a little harsh, however my guess is that with some hope and smart decisions on the coaching and management, then my bet is 3-13. I'll be watching from the comfort of my warm home and not wasting my money on the DAWG POUND....

My buddies and I are definitley staying at home this ENTIRE season... WE will not waste our hard earned money on a team that wont spend theirs to give us a good team... And all of you others should boycott going to the games too!!!

A team that won't spend? LeCharles Bentley, Eric Steinbach, Gary Baxter, Willie McGinist, Robaire Smith, Jamal Lewis, Ted Washington... All these guys are more valuable then a washed up QB that isn't going to be much better than Charlie Frye for a few games and Brady Quinn for the second half. Boycott the games? What will that do? They are already sold out. Go become a Bungles fan or something, there is no room for a "fan" like you amongst the Browns' Backers anyway.

You know when the browns left they should of stayed gone. Why should these guys play their hearts out? With fans like Cleveland has who needs enemies? You guys ever think that if you really stood behind the team just maybe they would do something. Oh I forgot where the team is from, Well at least Ohio has one decent team besides OSU, Cinncinnati Bengals are not too bad.

The sad thing is, as a Cowboys hater, those bastards have your next years first round pick and that's looking pretty good right now, [email protected]
