I didn't realize Giordano was a free agent, but I'd keep him over Huff and Eugene any day.

But I read an article yesterday that McKenzie likes huff and thinks there is untapped potential there.

Hey RM, is that the list of FA's? Or just guys you would release?

I would keep Chekwa & DVD (I think they did well enough as rookies to get another year)

Keep Giordano, Mike Mitchell and Huff (whether he plays at S or CB, whichever he can do better)

Anybody that has a problem restructuring their contract........cut him. that goes double for Wimbley. Curry is almost as big and is great at stopping the run and good at pass rush. Plus we got Shaughnessy and Trevor Scott.

Speaking of Scott......wasn't he moved from LB to DE a few years ago? He did outstanding!!! Then the next year Shaughnessy came along and filled in for him when he got injured (if I remember right) and that was the last we saw of Scott LOL.......and then we got Lamar Houston on the other side. I don't know if it's a lingering injury or the lack of playing time.....he's not showing the flash he did a few years ago. Even though he didn't have a great year, I think he's still 'got it' and hope we keep him.

just guys we have on the roster. but i guess my point was, if they are gong to rebuild this (D), those are the guys i would start with as far as (cb's) and (s) and (ss) go. as far as the other guys go on the line, we gotta keep most of those guys. we need some kind of strengh. t scott played but i believe his days are over with the RAIDERS. they say that lamar houston may be cut if we do switch to 3-4. we can't just go cutting if they don't restructure their contracts. a lot of these guys have fought hard on the lines and probably just needed better coaching on the (D).
