This sucks, he was under utilized and a big TE target.

under utilized is right. could he have done what z miller did here in oak? we'll never know but all our (te's) were hardly used last year. i believe that last season we were determined to breakout with the (wr's) rather than just go with (te's) just like they had done with z miller in the past. which is good to me, cause that's what (wr's) are for. our (wr's) needed that breakout. now that we discovered our (wr's), it's about balancing them both out. i still like brandon myers. david ausberry and richard gordan are decent but need more playing time.

This is a mistake. A Derek Hagan/Sterling Moore mistake.

You guys beat me to it..."under utilized" is exactly right.

I believe he definitely could have done what Zack Miller did for us but we didn't throw to him. Maybe because Carson throws down field? Maybe Boss didn't want to restructure? I don't know. Brandon Myers can catch a little and I'm anxious to see what Ausberry can do but this is a step backwards for sure.

Good luck, Kevin, wherever you end up....and if we play against you guys, I hope you stick it in our A$$.....but not for 6. LOL

umm, i pass,(lol) but brandon myers is pretty good, we just haven't seen them much. but i think we will see them more this year. i believe we are no longer going to be that deep threat that al davis coveted. so that may bring more passes to our (te's).

Kevin Boss just may be what the Giants need with the future of two of their three tight ends in jeopardy due to injuries. A return to the Giants sounds like a sound idea for both him and the team.

The Chiefs will need more than just him to be a serious contender. While he is a competent starter, he is by no means a star player. He blocks well, but is only an average receiver for a tight end.

Now he's a chief.

Catowner, with all due respect, I disagree about the "receiver" part. I think he blocks real well and can catch really well.

He may be a backup to Moeaki but boy what a "backup".

He is no Jeremy Shockey or Tony Gonzalez or Kellen Winslow. He has average receiving abilities for a starting tight end. Among the starters, he is in the middle of the pack in receiving ability.

Tony Gonzalez is pretty close to retirement and i see alot of Kellen Winslow Jr., down here and he is just a fraction of what his father was...way, way too many flags for pushing off....personal fouls....unfortunate, "U" thug mentality.....
