Love his dedication but he needs to spend some time with his wife!
|
||||
|
Mad_Dog, Spending time with your wife is overrated. Despite popular opinion, so-called quality time with the spouse only speeds up the nuptials-to-divorce process. He needs to spend QT with team trainers, coaches, and teammates so that we can bring a Super Bowl ring back to S. Fla. After his football days are over, he'll have all the time in the world to spend with the wife. Then he'll wish he had spend more time with coaches and teammates.

I hope he has a great injury-free season for us. Smiley is a stand up guy.

Guy is a badass lineman. He was thrashing ppl til he got hurt.

What is the point of this story? 99% of us dont get a day off, and we don't make millions. Are we supposed to feel sorry for him, or say he is a hard worker because he works everyday like all the rest of us? He is a dedicated hard worker and seems like a nice guy, but its like, OK so what, get back to work, thats what we all do.

“WHY NOT US!!!” Since: Feb 08
north miami beach ISP: Belleview, FL |
Im amazed that he's back on the field already, he'll definitely be good to go come game 1... What is very upsetting is Donald Thomas. We dont even know if he is our answer at RG yet cause we havent seen him long enough in games that count. If someone steps up this camp or we find somebody over the waiver wire Thomas may be out of a job before he really ever got started, oh-well...
GO PHINS!!! |

Hey you! Have you ever been an offensive lineman in the NFL. I promise you you never worked a day in your life harder than he has! A good friend of mine played for the Rams in the Super Bowl as a center and can barely get out of bed in the morning! Also you have had a chance to become an offensive lineman in the NFL but didn't have the nuts to pull it off! Shut your mouth and go back to working harder than everyone else! |

Boom Boom, why does it have to be about us? I'm pretty sure 99% of us get lots of days off. We're supposed to root for him, because he's a hard-nosed Parcells type of guy. Its a feel good story, unlike the Starks story.

Omar, man what is with the pic on the front of the article showing Smiley on a cart getting his leg worked on? way to entice or shock the reader...
9/11 was an inside job checkout wtc7.net & watch the collapse videos learn the truth |

I came here to read about our Phins, not to be reminded of the horrors of September 11th, 2001. liberalism is a sickness, I swear. |

I'm very proud of Smiley's work ethic and hope it translates to a healthy and productive season; this guy is a role model.

I here he might be back in time for Preseason but that is just here say I guess. DThomas will miss at least 4 weeks and if the muscle was ripped off the bone he is out for at least 6 to 8 months. It takes 3 to 4 months to heal and another 2to 3 months to regain your upper body muscle because you can not do any upper body weight training. Lets hope it is a small rupture and not not a complete rupture. My friend (a fireman)ruptured his pect and it ripped about halve way off the bone, needed surgery and he could not work for 4 months (except desk work)and went from 220lbs to a buck 90 during that time. Its been almost a yr and he still has not got all of his muscle back.(he is not a pro and does not get paid to get it back either). |

Left wing nut. cain Katrina was a inside job to right? They blew the levies to kill as many people as they could in the 9th ward. Trees are more important than people (tree hugging baby hater) and the seas will rise 20 ft if we do not stop killing the earth. It was gobal freezing 40 yrs ago now it is global warming right? By the way your parents misspelled your name! |

Can we get a mug shot of Pennington sitting on the bench looking dejected after his 4th INT in the playoffs now?
