New England turns Dolphins inside out in wide-open win

There was no sign of Tuna, but a stink was palpable. Bill Parcells, the Dolphins' newly named executive vice president of football operations, was wise to stay away from a 28-7 loss to the undefeated New ... Full Story

I could not believe that the suck Lemon would not sacrifice his body to get into the end zone, instead stepping out of bounds. I can only hope Parcells saw that play. Why in the world would you want a BABY like him leading your team in the future. A good example to set for all your teammates, when the QB is supposed to be the so-called leader of the team. Send this one packing now and spend the winter months finding one that has a set of BALLS!!!!!!

This is all just a bit harsh, doncha think?
Most of us have seen teams tank before.. hit the field and just flat give in and not try... that wasn't the team I watched last night.
Let's see now.. what are the actual facts..
the juggernaut Patriots managed to win a game over, in essence, our second and third teamers, many of whom were injured to boot.... last time we met they scored 49 points in the first half.. this time they got 28// we got four turnovers and scored once and got the ball within their five two or three times.
Not to take anything away from the pats but we didn't lok any worse last night than the cowboys against them..
As for Cleo.. ya can focus, if you want, on the mistakes (missing the pylon was a mistake.. NOT cowardice.. Hell, to step on the field behind that offensive line is heroic enough). Or you can focus on the continuing game by game improvements.. his accuracy, filed reading and pocket movement are all very much improved. His arm strength gets better as his confidence grows..
I watch a lot of games.. there's quite a few starting QBs that don't really look any better and they're playing on much netter teams than or second/thirds stringers comprise.
All said, I didn't really expect them to win (although it WAS a full moon) I expected them to try hard, play as a team and not attack each other in the lockerroom.. and they did all htree.
I'm proud of them.. anyone can take the cast the Pats have and beat a 1-13 team at home...that's no accomplishment.
But steady improvement in the face of continuous disaster is quite something to be proud of...
I look forward to next game and next year and I STILL say, trade the picks for the following years picks, get THIS team healthy and practised and organised (coaches too) and find out what you actually have before the baby and the bathwater get confused.

Dont worry my friend, after this season, you SHOULD NOT have to worry about having to deal with the following people ever again.....

Miss Cleo Lemon
marty butterfingers booker'
derek dropsalot hagen
the entire secondary
zach thomas's injury (thanks zach, now retire)
David Martin (makes randy mcmichael look like tony gonzales)
The special teams coach
and finally Cam Cameron and his passive, laid back, uninspiring coaching. Some of you might say, it's only his first year, give him a chance, well, you can just tell, he is not head coaching material, perhaps a good offensive coordinator (when he had a LT and antonio gates and a good QB). One more week and let the offseason and preperations for the number one pick begin.

Quote:
One sign in the stands sent a message to Mercury Morris and the 1972 perfect-season Dolphins (17-0), who won't be popping any champagne corks until probably New Year's Eve. "Hey, Merc, knock knock."

Hey, Harvey, How lucky we are to have a brown nosing Jets fan reporting on the Dolphins!!! Kiss Shitzinga's asss some more and root against the Dolphins with a passion is what every Dolphfan desires. For extra bonus, your fellow New York fan writer: Charles Pricker and the Jamaican: Omar Kelly can give the die hard fans and natives exactly what we are looking for in reporting. Throw in the New York fans on 790 the ticket radio and we are just so blessed down here.

How sad is it that a true native of the town and team has to go to the Palm Beach Post to get a real feel for what's going on and... some intelligence?

does ginn look fast running to the sidelines? What a bust. He looks like the slowest player out there. drafting a punter with 7th round pick when they are a dime a dozen. Clayton was 7th rounder, why not take chance on someone who can make a difference. Cam/Mueller are idiots and Billy has to show them the door. Oh, I forgot Cleo should be benched for last game for not diving into the endzone. Let's see our future hall of famer Beck play the last game.

Ginn is like Lemon...and CCC...seemingly dispassionate and lacking instinct. But, more accurate. Lemon is clearly worse than Jay Fiedler ever was...and that is enough. Beck should play last game.

Why hasn't L. Booker been playing sooner after RB got hurt? He has talent.

Painful to watch but what game (this year) hasn't been?

Well, one more and the pain will be over, at least for a while.

Here's to a new year and some new faces.

This was a practice game for the Pats.
It was obvious they were trying a bunch of different things prepping for the playoffs such as the running game and 159 yds for Marony. They at least did not embarrass the Dolfins this time but you guys have years before the team will be good again. Jimmy J. and Dave W. have seen to that. Oh and "TANKS" (pun) for the "gifts". You guys have been generous all year, not just at Christmas.

What i saw was a "Loser" quarterback that sucked when the chips were on the line and let down the players who came to play on offense and defense.
Late throws causing either incompletions or recievers getting thier jocks knocked off. Martin not the best tight end was setup to get clobbered. The run to the outside of the pilelon tells you this quarterback shouldn't be running the offense.
Either a dumb Jason Allen or i believe poor special teams coaching led this moron to come out of the end zone instead of downing it and getting the ball on the 20 instead of the 10. It's little dumb things like that pile up and cost you.
Letting a ball go right through your hands (Lance shulters) is why he was sitting in a donut shop when Cam called. You losers could've made a game of it in the second half if it wasn't for stupid mistakes and inept play. The two long runs, apparently that formation wasn't recognized by either by the coaching staff or the defensive signal caller,to have it happen twice is dumb coaching.
I would fire the entire staff execept for some of the position coaches.
Jason Taylor & Joey Porter did all they could to win the game,it's a shame they have to play for losers.

When Greg Camarillo is main scoring threat you have a problem.
Ted Ginn has had 15 games to show what he can do and i haven't seen the guy escape from tacklers and go the distance. He got tackled from behind by #96 a patriot defensive lineman. The guy may be fast, but he's not "Quick" in a small space like welker or steve smith, a "BUST". He'd be sitting on the bench on most teams. Hagan just hasn't done much but drop passes and the tight ends Stink also.
That leaves M Booker who's ready for retirement, however the young Booker (lorenzo) looks better than any of them and so did ronnie brown before the injury, catching and running.

Vonnie Holliday says the guys showed "pride and some guts."

That's a joke, right?

I mean the score was 28-7.
