the Ravens turned down the opportunity to open the season on national TV against the Steelers. Suggs should demand an explanation from Raven management, then if & when the team mans up he can claim they're itching for a rematch. Avoiding a showdown with the SuperBowl champs to open the season makes them a team of sissys in my opinion. Steelers took away the Ravens swagger last year. When a team says NO, I don't want to play you, for whatever reason, it's a sad day for your fans.

Call me a crazy on this one also. I thought good teams and players seek the biggest competitive hills to climb. You know, tell me I can't, and you just assured yourself that I'll try harder than bleep, not geez, that seems a little too tough to start the season, I'll think we'll pass. |
