Guys the three losses are not your fault. Thats what coaches are for. Dick Tomey when he was the UH coach would always shoulder the blame for a loss and would tell the public to blame the coaches not the players. After a loss, he would say that they were outcoached or didn't prepare the team properly. Haven't seen that at all during the JJ era or lately. This is a rebuilding year so enjoy playing without carrying the weight of the team on your shoulders. Like Coach Tomey would say football is like life with alot of adversity which you learn to overcome. Now is the time for the true fans to show their colors instead of the fair weather ones and you know who you are!

Rolo no experience, The Lees, just college experience. Ask June Jones to hire a pro offensive coach.

I think Mac is stuck with the offensive coaches not by choice but by chance....

We will improve and I still believe in the WARRIORS...

The "team" was playing like a group of girls from the projects, biting, scratching and pulling hair.

They deserved each and every penalty they received.

Our quarterbacks were not the problem the unsportsman like conduct by the rest of the team with the massive number of penalties caused the problem, which resulted in the quarterbacks playing "catchup" and take unobtainable odds to get points.

Now we are a loosing team we need to get back to basics with sportsman like behavior, they can forget the grandstanding they are loosers at present!

A coach can only do so much...If the players cannot carry out the game plan, it's not going to go too well.
I still don't know why we chose Mac, an unexperienced coach, and paid him as much as we did.
For that money, we should have gotten someone with enough name recognition to get recruits interested in coming here.
There will be a draught for a while here.

$1,000,000 a year. I think like Mac as a person, but does he have the experience, management and synchronization to deserve this kind of money?

It was 'negotiated' by Virginia Hinshaw. Take a look at her East Coast hair, there is definitely a strange vanity in her to not rectify her appearance, it portrays an arrogance of her own power and conceived value.

Mac should have been offered a salary far less, with the incentive to earn more with success. We now have an unproven and overpaid coach with no money to hire help in the areas we desperately need.

Lets hope the two of them send racial and sexist emails on their State owned computers.

And whats up with 2, 15 yard penalties from one guy. We got more penalties in the last 4 games than all of last year seems like.

Kilu is right. Stand up Hawaii, and support your team. New coach, new players, it takes time.

Offensive line play has been offensive! Penalties for holding, illegal procedure and personal fouls are not being corrected. Either the offensive lineman are not good enough for the offensive schemes or they are not being coached properly. I think it's a lot of both. I don't expect the warriors to win all their games, but the way they are losing they make the Keystone cops look graceful. It just makes it harder for everyone else to compensate for that much eneptness. The defense can only do so much. When the offense loses the ball on the first down of the first play in three series in a row thats the ballgame. The quaterbacks are constantly running for their lives trying to make plays just doesn't cut it. I hope the recruiting for quality offensive lineman goes back up in the future. It seems to have stopped since coach Cav left for Oregon State. Without good lineman and QB's UH will have a hard time running this offense.

Neither one of these stumble bums is capable of playing even in the minor league WAC. Graunke does not even go to class. Funaki is a joke. This team needs to get off our campus. The players are not real students at all. Check the stats on that.

Sorry bumbucho, but the season is over. UH has nothing, hon. We're done. The sky has fallen. We've been exposed. Last year was luck against junk teams. Remember we got our arses kicked last year too. Just gotta wait for UH hoops, hon.
Now, I need to go take my shower for the month, hon. Too much flies already.

The offensive coordinator has to change things up and make better play calling selections. If the running game is working, then stick with it. If the passing game is working, then stick with it. The plays have been predictable for defenses. They do not respect our passing game because our running game has been questionable. This past week's starting offensive line was much better than the previous week's starters. Funaki is still running for his life because the plays have been taking too long to develop. Coach Lee has a good mind and he should start going back to the basics. Back in the day when Coach Lee's team were up they would be managing the clock very well, time consuming drives. The play calling in the 2nd half was bad as if Coach Lee has pressure to put up big scoring games. Coach Lee you know what I am talking about, I don't care if you score 100 points. If the opposing team scores 101, you still lose the game. Do what you do best and that is very well orchestrated drives that uses the strength of the kids playing and everything will be alright. No one cares if you score 100 points and still lose the game. Good Luck the rest of the way and hope to see you guys at the Hawaii bowl.

I blame Graunke for this season's mess. Colt was a leader, an inspiration to last year's team. Graunke inherited the role, but messed up academically and missed Spring and Fall practices. His selfishness cost him respect from teammates. Now that he's back and is the "leader", but he is not able to inspire his team.
