Thomas will be 35 by the season-opener, but the Pats have that habit of picking up former Dolphins, and Thomas has been one of Miami's most best defenders of all time.

espn.com reported that he left new england WITH an offer, but will still visit the saints tuesday.
It must not have been a big offer, or PATS arent on top of Zachs wish list.

The man needs to hang it up while he still has the mental capacity to count his money. He already had a great career. He did more than he or anyone else ever thought that he could. Why risk further head or other injury. At age 35 he still has a long life to live and enjoy. Get to it, Zach!

NE would be great. Maybe he can drop kick an extra point, and go out in a blaze of glory with a classless sinking ship. Take Junior with you...

Who cares that the former Coaching Staff knew Players..........cause based on the Fins Won/Loss Record over the past few seasons, it's obvious the former staff couldn't coach worth s/h/i/t!

Exactly!!! It's pretty sad that Zack would rather risk being a vegetable for the rest of his life and play for the Patriots, then retire as a Dolphin!

Ummm, wouldn't the definition of having Balls be Cutting one of the Fins most beloved players in Zack Thomas!!!

The question that needs to be asked Larry, is if a Squirrel crawled up your leg would it starve?????

The Palm Beach Post is reporting this morning that the Patriots tried to wrap him up yesterday with an offer, but he didn't sign the offer and will not make a decision until after the combine. Way to get scooped SS.

I hope Zach gets his shot at the super bowl with whatever team he chooses. By the time the Phins get competitive again Thomas will be enjoying his retirement. Then we can go eat at Thomas's Bagels.

Zach will not sign with the Pats, it's too cold there. He'll go to Dallas.

Zach obviously can go where he wants. But to go to a division rival, especially the Pats, is just bad form.

Zach, I thought you said you would always be a Dolphin?
