Bruschi is an idiot. They got more for him than anyone thought he was worth at the time. Obviously Welker's had one hell of a year and is making the Dolphins look stupid for giving him up, but do you really think Welker would have made a difference if he were in Miami this year? As a Dolphin fan, I'd much rather have a solid center to help build an O-line around for the next 4-10 years than a reciever than would have gotten 50 catches, no touchdowns, and no national attention playing for a team with no quarterback.
So Bitter aren't you - cold up in NH with all the pats fans, eh?

If Satelle goes to the pro bowl 2 to 4 times during his time here this Welker issue is moot. Time will tell. I'll tale a pro bowl center over a good slot Receiver any day.
That is a false choice. We took a receiver and then took Satele. I would rather have Satele than Ginn but you could have had both without the Welker trade.
Welker is the consummate posession receiver, like having the run/pass option on every play.
To add insult to injury, we traded our most consistent offensive play to our division rivals, we weakem our team and make theirs stronger, BRILLIANT!
That is exactly why Randy M should never work in a decision making capacity in the NFL again.
If you HAD to trade Welker, he should have been shopped to a team like Oakland.

and thats the beauty of the bekichek (i know i spelled that wrong) Welker was a great fit for the pats...small, fast and invisible...he's just like wayne chrebet...a go to sneaky fug...im a fin fan so the truth is im pissed he's gone...but our crap management would never have known how to use him...plus we had no QB...but ill take the 7 and 2 plus the cameron/mueller exit and the parcells enterance to use that 7 & 2...it was sad then...but im fine with it now...Draft well tuna

The reason Welker fits in so well with the pats is because he's smart, hard working, and has great hands. These qualities are not what the fins need now. I think Beck is the best QB for the fins, granted he doesn't throw TD's, but he does throw lots of int's
