Just another chapter in Philadelphia sports, what if ! The fact is that Philly has great fans, but that's where it ends. W. C. Fields tagged Philadelphia years ago and over the years it turned out to be true. There season was over when McNabb took the field this year, you can't run a race horse with one leg in a cast. We are not talking of the worlds greatest passer here, his ability to compete in the NFL came from his legs, not his arm.

Just another example of a football "expert" from the area. By the way, where you one of those "fans" that where on the Feeley bandwagon until yesterday's game?

Oh what a disappointment! I'm still not a fan of McNabb. I think it's time for change. We need a new younger QB. Every season it's the same thing ...over and over again. McNabb gets hurt and someone fills in for him. His days ofbeing this "great QB" are over. He's just not it anymore. Any QB makes mistakes...granted..Feeley made A LOT of them! That was an AWFUL game yesterday! It was sad! But ya know..it's always that way. It's not just the QB. The Eagles don't play well under pressure. It's this way every year. The team blows it when they need to get it together and do something right. THey just can't seem to manage...the offense needs some work! Everything is based on Westbrook. He's amazing but come on...he can't be the whole team! He needs help! SOme changes need to be made..better coaching for one. I think they should start warming Kolb up and get him ready. let's see what he can do. It's time for a young QB who can run the show. Also...come on OFFENSE..and Reid...get it together!

I wonder how much McNabb paid Feeley to look bad, after all Donovan can see the writing on the wall

As I hoped and expected more from Feeley, I am quite disappointed when I know he can do better. There are many questions in Philly. QB's, coaches etc... The big questions are when does Kolb start his debut?
When does Reid go to Passers Anonymous and play calling classes?

I don't think that Feeley is our future however it has got to be hard to get up for a game when your coach doesn't support your efforts. All week Reid kept telling the media that McSuck will be their starter if he is able to play. I bet you Favre will play this week. How do you get up for a game if you don't know you are going to be the starter. I didn't get to see the game. Can someone tell me if McSuck was at least on the field with his team?

lol... I was on the phone with my son while he was giving me the play by play... I remember several times shouting "Nooo!! Why would they do that?!"

How's it going FF? ;)

I guess the AJ lovefest is over?

Be careful what you wish for Eagles fans....if and when McNabb is traded, we'll be breaking in Kolb for 2 full seasons.

Don't expect too much then that happens. It will be 2 more seasons of mediocrocy at best....

You have got to love the Media. It is all Feeley's fault. I remember a super bowl and a huge INT from McSuck or a Champ game against TPA at home and a Huge INT from McSuck to end the game but nothing ever said. I could go on. Rush and TO are right. The Media and the nfl are pushing McSuck. He has NEVER been a great QB hardly a good QB.

I Agree it may take a couple of years to compete for a superbowl but if we keep McSuck it will never happen. I think the eagles screwed up the first time they got rid of Feeley because of QB controversy. He is getting to old now to think about using him as a starter. We need to see what Kolb can do.

The Eagles, and more so McNabb, have never been the same since getting rid of T.O. I never liked the guy personally, but you can't throw away that talent. He basically got them to the Superbowl that year, even with a broken leg. When he was there he made McNabb look like a top tier QB. And as much as I hate to say it, T.O. is will likely get the Cowboys to the bowl this year. The current crop of WRs in Philly make McNabb look worse than what he really is. I think it is time to officially rebuild, which means horrid seasons of football ahead.

I tend to disagree, I think Philly needs to get rid of Andy Reid, the guy pushing McNabb as a starter. They should keep McNabb as a backup though, he is still better than 3/4s of the other QBs in the league. Also, I am not at all sold on Kevin Kolb as the future of the franchise. As for Feely, I was never a fan. I didn't understand why the Dolphins payed him a ton of money to be their starter.Look how that turned out....

You are kidding me right. Our back ups have won more games in the last five years than McNabb has. I think you try Kolb or Manning would be great and keep AJ as your back up. McSuck is making to much money for a back up you have to trade him. As for AJ and Miami, you can't hold that against any QB. At least he was able to help them win a game. The only reason I would get rid of Reid is because he won't give up on McSuck. The bad plays he calls at the end of games is to make the other QB's look bad so he can keep McSuck.

Sad day. Very sad. If Lurie wasn't so cheap, Garcia would still be there to save the day. 2 trades will make the team better McNabb and Reid.

FYI. Garcia left to go to Tampa for a starting position. The eagles were not going to give a backup QB the money Garcia was asking.

Not one single sports writer or belligerent Eagles fan gave second thought to the weather conditions Sunday. Feeley made some poor decisions, but his bad games looked better then a lot of McNabb's bad games. He orchestrated the offense well for the better part of his time on the field, and he takes responsibility for all mistakes. Give him credit for his precise TD passes and good decisions. For God's sake, people, learn to write sentenances properly! You all have terrible writing skills!

Why was T.O a pain? I don't understand the complaints. He was right!!! I am glad that he was with us a did open his mouth about McSuck. His comments started something in Philly that no one else had the B**** to say. Also remember he was just answering a question that he was asked, he never started anything. The problem is with McSuck not with T.O or anyone else that spoke up.(Trotter?)

Thank you, this goes back to my first comment. Feeley has a bad came and almost won and he gets bashed but McSuck has a bad game and nothing. "He must be hurting".
