Belcher tragedy shocks NFL community

The agent for Jovan Belcher , the Kansas City Chiefs linebacker who shot his girlfriend to death and later turned a gun on himself on Saturday morning, never thought that Belcher capable of what happened.

Domestic violence is no laughing matter. This one would have ended happier if he reversed the order of who he shot when.

Did anybody else find it odd the NFL put its own spin on it by saying he thanked Crennel and Paoli before taking his own life?

I'm sure that is at the top of your list after you killed your girlfriend, the mother of your child, that you would go to a practice facility, than your coach and GM, then blow your brains out. I'm just surprised he didn't also thank Roger Goodell while he was in that thanking mood.
