I was going to say something similar, except for the PETA thing not that I think they are right. However, for the last few years people have said Vick is not this and he's not that and will he be good enough to win the "BIG" one. Well I'm here to say we had a lot better chance with him than J. Harrington and I'm not just saying that without facts - just look at his record, dude sucks. Falcons, go get a QB right now, this kid has been sacked before the season even starts. Don't give me it's just the pre season BS either. He's puntang:).

The Falcons will be just fine without MR.SHOWBOAT. Vick was and is out for only one person...himself.He is not a team player at all. Even worse he is a poor role model and has been for the past couple of years. One incident inparticular..no respectable player "Flips off" the fans. And the last time he took a good hit...I'm hurt and cant play. Vick is a punk and always will be. I have never liked him and am glad he will be gone from the Falcons.

As for the dog fighting...I saw a great picture last weekend., it was of a Pitbull taking a bite out of Vick!

It goes without saying that Harrington's performance this week didn't compare to last weeks good outing. Also, I think most people would agree that the Falcons would be a better team with Vick as quarterback.

The real question is whether Vick's price equals his performance. He's a heck of an athlete and anyone pretending otherwise is lying to themselves. Regardless, my personal opinion is that Vick sucked up more salary cap money than he's proven to be worth. Putting aside his sick personal behavior which has virtually destroyed the team, he simply doesn't warrant the huge bite he took out of the budget. It's about winning superbowls and he can't carry the team alone and because there's not much money to spread around after his paycheck we have to settle for a generally lackluster supporting cast. Why did they let Schaub go? Simple, they couldn't afford to sign him!

It's time to move on. Harrington probably isn't the answer but until the Falcons can shed Vick's enormous paycheck we have to settle for mostly B-list players.

Vick is gone. He's not coming back. Get over it. It sucks, but get over it. I just want this season to get under way. And I want the Falcons to find a replacement QB quick because Harrington can't get it done. If the best you can do after 5 seasons in the league is make backup QB, then you don't have what it takes. We need a QB to take the first team NOW. If the Falcons stink it up this year all we'll hear all year is people cryin' "See, told ya'll you ain't nuthin' without Vick!" and I just don't want to listen to that crap all year. This team was going to be 8-8 WITH Vick. I think he proved over the last 2 years that this is the best he can do.

He is being investigated for a serious crime. Let it go! There are plenty of talented guys on that team. He wasn't the end all, be all of the NFL. He took his talent and gifts for granted and now he's got to either continue his downward spiral or climb out of the hole he dug for himself.

I'm pretty much with you man, but you can't get a premier quarterback until you get rid of the guy with the premier paycheck (Vick). Your right, Vick is gone! The problem is that Vick's financial hit on the Falcon's salary cap isn't.

Wow, it's wierd to think back when we first signed Vick and how ecstatic I was. First we shed that raunchy Smith family's ownership of the franchise and then we signed the most promising quarterback in the NFL.

My how things change.

Geeze, PETA didn't turn on Vick. His "friends" did. Don't damn the dogs. I'm certain that not a one of the dogs was happy to have been involved with Vick, and none got a choice in the matter.

The dogs didn't make this mess for Vick. He obviously didn't need any help. He did a first-rate job of destroying his life and career all on his own.

I'd rather watch the Falcons lose without Vick than to watch them win with him on the field.
