I used to anxiously wait for Spring because of the Orioles, buit in the last ten years, I just wait for Spring for the weather, lol. They just suck so bad. Enjoy the game today. Winner will be the SB champion too, lol.

Fortunately I usually have some hockey to tied me over till mini-camps for football.

I am really into Nascar, so February is my big month that holds me over until September. We will see how many races I can afford to go to this year, though a lot of tracks "get this", have lowered ticket prices in repsonse to the economy. I might make it to both races at Pocono this year, lol

Good move by Nascar...I am not really into it, but I went to once race a Pocono and thought it was pretty cool.

The reason I am really into it is because there is no sport on this planet where the players are so assessable to the fans. They drivers are all very normal family people, everything is geared around families. Unlike football, you can take your kids and grandkids to a race and not worry about people beating each other up, cussing, falling down drunks, etc. The sport does a great job of policing it's drivers. Driver's cursing are usually fined big dollars and docked championship points. There are no problems (except for one Nationwide driver who is now banned for life) with drivers regarding drugs, alcohol, banned substances, getting arrested, committing criminal acts, selfishness, etc. The action at a race is incredible. If the hair doesn't stand up on your arm, your probably not breathing. If you have some connections and get pit passes, there is nothing like it. Oh well, Philly has gotten back into this game, gotta pay attention now.

I just have zero tolerance for boneheaded Personal Foul penalties. They've dropped of significantly this year but we've been nailed for 2 game changing killers against the Steelers this year. Who knows? Maybe they move the ball 30 yards, Stover kick, up 17-16 with a couple of minutes to go? Maybe Ben goes length of field in 2 minutes, Steeler's kick game winner, lol, we will never know. Just gotta move on.

Best of luck in the SB, as Raven's are in off season mode, I bid you a fond farewell until June when the fun begins again. Thatnk God I have college basketball and Nascar to get me through what will be another pathetic Orioles season.

Steelers have been "kicked to the curb" 5 of the last 6 games at M&T and of course the ony loss was courtesy of the officials last year.

Biff 33 wrote: <quoted text>C'mon Rob, your above that. Wasn't bragging or gloating, just stating a fact. Of course the Steelers have been winning at their place, so that does say something about home field advantage. You know I have never been a fan of Ward as I have stated here before. He is in my top 5 players I can't stand. And while he is an outstanding member of the community, I don't care for his style of play when he is far from the ball and the play is being blown dead. Now I have another reason for not liking him. His comments about Ben were disgraceful. Having had concussions playing sports, one in football, these head injuries are a serious issue. I certainly don't want ben to beat the Raven's head to head, but I respect the guy alot. I think he's tough and gritty like a throwback player of the 50's or 60's. You will not agree, but I think Ward is an ass when he puts a uniform on. there jhas to be some real anger in Steeler nation today. When you lose 3 in a row, it's not the time to be questioning your star qb and coach. It's just dispicable.
