Send McCown over to Cam Cameron and Cam will turn McCown into a super duper .... Cam......... we miss you. You were so freaking bad at every single task ..... freaking Peter Principle man....... love entertainment provided by you ...... come back, we are bored w/Parcells freaking Nazi management style. We need people doing crazy crap like you... trade Welker, draft Family Ginn, bring in 38 year old fullback from Detroit to start and block for Ronnie, tell Ronnie to run back kickoff and punts, draft ancient QB Beck to sit on and learn from scrambled eggs for brain Trent Green, ask Marty Booker to carry ball on a 4 and 1 play in London rain, WE MISS YOU MAN, WE NEED IT YOUR STUFF YOU PULLED OUT FROM UNDER A PILE OF CAMEL DUNG ... we could be enjoying your stuff again ... winning is not important,...... A GOOD TIME IS MORE IMPORTANT!

Ted Ginn sucks. John Beck sucks. You will run the ball 60 percent of the time and have the 25th defense in the league. Just deal with it fellas. Oh, and cam cameron sucked! You need to draft a 1st round QB and quit FUCK ING around with these second round fairies.

"draft a first rd QB and stop f***ing around with second rd faries" only half of first rd QBs make it in the NFL. At 50 mill guarantied to some one who might or might not make, how many millions can you afford. Where was Tony Romo drafted? 4th?
McGown cut his finger,,,this news is only three days late,,,,,

WHERE WAS PEYTON MANNING DRAFTED! Eat it chump. More QB's from the 1st round end up being good than from any other round. So play the odds. When did Dan Marino retire? 95? 96? Even if you used a 1st round pick every 4 years on a QB, then by now you would have found somebody who was at least decent. But oh no, you trade away the best receiver on your team for a 2rd round pick and make tedd ginn the no.1. Good move, almost as smart as drafting a run blocking right tackle to play your left tackle position. Have fun with your 4 or 5 wins.

Drafting isn't an exact science. It's easy to say,'Oh, if only you'd have drafted a 1st rd QB everything would be o.k. now" but it doesn't work like that. Not every guy is a Peyton Manning. Drafting is a "relative value" game, meaning you take your draft position and make your pick based on 1.) Best Palyer Available, and 2.) Position of Need. Every player on your board must be rated against every other player available in the draft as his position and the overall value of that pick in the draft order. It's not as simple as saying "We need a QB" and then taking the best QB available when your turn comes. A team must be built, not just a single position. None of this is meant to deny the Dolphins have made mistakes in the draft over the past decade.

You're also assuming these 2nd rd'ers are going to be flops, which isn't necessarily warranted. There've been few 'can't miss' QB's in the draft in the past decade.

Ya, so thats the point, for every good-very good QB that comes out of the first round, then there are 3 more busts or mediocres. so, there is a 1-4 ratio with draft picks spent to good QB's found. This is gonna be the best statistical ratio you will ever find on how to get a good QB. No other round, no other walk of life will produce that number of good qb's. so here is my quarrel with the dolphins... they suck because they havent bothered with a 1st round QB since 1983. The pick was dan marino, and ever since he retired QB play has been one of the worst spots on your team. Just get it over with and pick another 1st round QB!!!! you had amazing luck last time. Quit hoping for john beck to mature, or thinking that mccown can win you 10 games. Just buck up, and draft a player who can throw the ball.

Exactly. The last 3 winning SB QB's were ALL 1st rd picks. And the last 1st rd QB the Fins drafted turned out pretty good. Nothing is guaranteed but you have to at least try and get a top QB in the 1st rd. These scrub QB's certainly arent doing it for the Fish.
