How can you justify placing the Falcons so high? The should not be ahead of the Ravens and Cowboys.

The Steelers have used black and gold as their colors since the club's inception, the lone exception being the 1943 season when they merged with the Philadelphia Eagles and formed the "Steagles"; the team's colors at that time were green and white as a result of wearing Eagles uniforms. Originally, the team wore solid gold-colored helmets and black jerseys. Unique to Pittsburgh, the Steelers' black and gold colors are now shared by all major professional teams in the city, including the Pittsburgh Pirates in baseball and the Pittsburgh Penguins in hockey. These also are the colors of the city's official flag.

The Steelers logo was introduced in 1962 and is based on the "Steelmark," originally designed by Pittsburgh's U.S. Steel and now owned by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI). In fact, it was Cleveland-based Republic Steel that suggested the Steelers adopt the industry logo. It consists of the word "Steelers" surrounded by three astroids (hypocycloids of four cusps). The original meanings behind the astroids were, "Steel lightens your work, brightens your leisure, and widens your world." Later, the colors came to represent the ingredients used in the steel-making process: yellow for coal, orange for iron ore, and blue for scrap steel.[21] While the formal Steelmark logo contains only the word "Steel," the team was given permission to add "ers" in 1963 after a petition against AISI.

Man, those "Stillers" sure are tough! I think the big turnaround for that franchise came after Ben Stiller purchased them.

"Stillers" is the correct pronunciation of "Steelers" for native speakers of Pittsburghease. Not so sure about Iggles.

For instance, if one was going to go downtown with ones friends and watch the Steeler game, one might say,

"Ima goin dahntahn an' hang out an' at an' watch 'em Stillers.

I'm not sure who the Asss is that is responsible for these rankings, but they are a moron. This is not college. This is the NFL. In the NFL, if you win by 1 point or by 50 points, it doesn't matter. A win is a win. I am not a Dolphin fan, but they did win. This idiot has them dropping from 10 to 12 after they won???? Not sure I get it. He has them ranked 10. They win. Now he has them ranked 12. Nice logic there buddy.

No it's not - the story is about power rankings. So, the Dull-fins actually do suck.

Well genius they may suck but they are ranked above the "wonderful" Jets
and that's good enough for me.
I actually think the Patriots are over rated and should have never been ranked that high as they played the pitiful Raiders.
