I'd say the Raiders are doing Rhodes a favor by releasing him early so he can get with another team. He won't be unemployed long. He kept his mouth shut, played well when called upon and supposedly was a good locker room guy. That is why he was released early as possible. To give him a head start finding another team.

Lamont Jordan on the other hand will be made to wait until every single trade option has been explored and ultimately released as late as possible. That's how Davis treats players who whine, bitch, and moan.

I fully expected both RB's to be off the team at some point following DMAC's selection. With Fargas,Bush and Dmac the team is set.

The crappy thing is the Pats have a cupcake schedule...Their first four games are this...Chiefs Jets Dophins niners...They end up playing the Jets twice, the Dolphins twice and the Bills twice...That's 8 almost guarnteed wins out of the gate. Make it nine wins as they also play the Rams... Then cards Seahawks Raiders and Broncos...Those could go either way but judging by last years record it is in the Pats favor....the only 50/50 games are against Colts Chargers and Steelers...How the hell did they get such a cupcake schedule after going 18-1.

The gaytriots are NOT going back to the super bowl!!!!!!!! And personally I don't think they are going back to the playoffs!!!!!!!!!

And yes I am perfect aware of their pussy ass schedule, but since 2002 of all the teams that have had the easiest schedule at this time only one has made the playoffs. Also keep in mind that in the National Football League the biggest bullseye any team can have on their back is going to the super bowl and losing. I mean since 2001 of all the teams that have gone to the super bowl and lost only 1 has made the playoffs.

Also keep in mind that because of free agency ect... with all the teams in the AFC East aside from the Patriots. Aside from the Patriots the AFC East will be the most imporved devison in football. I'd honestly judging by free agency, the draft and last season teams favored to win the AFC East are as follows in this order:

1.New York, Jets (Chad Pennington it seems is always bad one season and good the next when his team gets extra help on the O-Line)

2.Buffalo, Bills (Trent Edward could have a break out season next year and I like how his team has handled free agency (not getting too much and not letting too much go)+ the Bills were hurt last season allot by injuries and are due to make a playoff appearance)

3*New England, Patriots (Lets face it their D (aside from a few D-Backs and the front 3 is getting old and could crack any year now. I under stand they drafted allot of LB and D-Backs in this years draft, but those LB and D-Backs are going to need at least a year or two to learn Belichick's complicated system of defense. Also keep in mind, every season Tom Brady has made the playoffs his D has been amongst the top 5 in the NFL. So as far as I'm concerned Tom Brady has yet to prove himself with a bad defense (something Peyton has done about every season).

4.Miami, Dolphins (1-15 last season, any questions)

PS.
Next season the Patriots will lose both times to either the Jets of Bills and be beaten on the road by one or the other. And yes the Pats first 2 games next season will be boring blow outs just like every game they played last season before they went to Indy.

Their cupcake schedule is because of the standard NFL settings. Here is how it breaks down:
1. Six games against your division opponents. This is Dolphins, Jets, and Bills who all suck except for maybe Buffalo is average.
2. Four games against another division in your conference. Rotates every year. This year just happens to be AFC West, Raiders (suck) Chiefs (suck but had great draft), Broncos (???) and Chargers (good). Your division rivals play the same teams.
3. Four games against a division in the other conference. Rotates every year. This year just happens to be NFC West, 49ers (suck), Arizona (always sucks), Rams (suck), Seattle (pretty good).
Your division rivals play the same teams.
4. Only the last two games determined by how you did last year...if you finish 1st you play other 2 teams in your conference that finished 1st, if you finished 2nd you play the other two 2nd place finishers, etc. This is how Colts and Steelers are on their schedule.
So this is why only tough games for NE look like Colts, Steelers, Chargers, Seattle. Pretty good shot at going 16-0 again but 14-2 is probably closer to reality.

Try 7-9

A.The Pats have the easiest schedule in the NFL and the Colts have the second toughest schedule in the NFL SO WHAT since 2002 at this time of all the teams who have had the easiest schedule in the NFL only 1 of them has made it to the playoffs.

B.The Pats have also choked in the big SB and what do you know since 2001 of all the teams that have lost in the SB only one has made the playoffs the following season.

PS.
The Rams may not suck, they have had tons of huge key injuries through out the past 3 years holding them back. And I'm telling you one of these days their early draft selections are going to come around, making them look like the 2006/2007 Saints who correct me if I'm wrong had the second worst record like the Rams last season in the 2005/2006 season!!!!!!
