it was a really big shock to me that julius peppers wants out of carolina, but why would he even consider going to the fins? it would be a bad move if he did.

He wants to play in 3-4 defense, We have an up and coming coaching staff and we made the playoffs last year. Not to mention we are way under the cap and can afford him. Isay miami has as good a chance to sign him as anyone. your a fool.

Wow!!! A Pepper in Miami and a Porter. The P&P QB Eliminators. I think that could work. Peps wants a 3-4 and wants to expand his potential. The Fins can do that. He is also a Carolina resident, east coast, and not too far from Florida. I think Joey needs to call up Peps and tell him to get his arse down here.

I say if he's available for a fair price (i.e. < $5M-$6M per season), sign him up. He'd make a nice addition to Miami's front 7. Couple him with a Day 1 LB draft pick and a couple of good young secondary players, and this defense could make some big strides. Feb 27th and free agency can't come soon enough.

he hates the 4-3. it doesn't maximize his ability and he is right. he hates having to play off the ball, he wants to be free to move around and rush the passer from the outside.

i just dont get why he wants to leave the 4-3 because he dominates in it.

Look, the Fins have a tough schedule. They will face great QB's and receivers next season.
Davis and Smith would help in the coverage/smackdown department - but what better way to beat a passing offense than to beat down on the QB (like the Giants v. Pats Superbowl).
He's the closest thing to the next LT this team will have to offer Bill.
Imagine facing the stinking Ravens again in the playoffs and this team beating Flacco into a pulp and winning at home!
Beating down Mark Sanchez so as he gets the Jim Everett syndrome!
Too much to pass up!

It's good money. If they franchise him again, he'll get the appropriate raise. He asked to be let go, they said no, now they'll have to pay dearly before they can let him go. It helps soothe the no signing bonus part.

Im so upset he wants to leave he is a great player but 1 player does not win championships He has also been non productive sometimes and other times dominant in big games If wants to be a sellout Big Loss but someone will be happy to fill those shoes Everett Brown or Hike Taylor from North Carolina are good players So Peppers better have a phenomanal season or he can go were ever he wants next year
