I have to disagree on McNair. We reshaped our team for the future. You can't do that with an old, beat-up QB. This isn't Brett Favre we're talkin. What's wrong with Troy Smith and Boller backing him up? I hate boller/mcnair, the turnover twins.

Count on Bisciotti to always call it as he sees it....no matter how much the honesty may hurt.

I hope we can get a good CB, QB, WR, and linemen OFL and DFL.. We really need a future QB and depth at CB and WR but no matter who we get Mcnair and smith need to play this year. No way you put a rookie on the hot seat at QB unless you run out of options and hope..

Steve the Michelin Man taking us to the Super Bowl? Me thinks not. The guy has more under padding and under shielding than any four old quarterbacks put together. Maybe the mini camps will let Troy shine because Steve and Kyle aren't the answers.

McNair and J.O. need to retire..we'll miss the hell out of J.O. but its time for him to pass the job down to someone else...and get to the Hall Of Fame !!!!!!!!! where he belongs !

Steve I love your attitude but you are dreaming about McNair, he will never last 4 games. He can't run and his arm is tired.
He's a great guy but don't let him embarrass himself for another season.
As to Brian, he seems a class act. I liked him until the playoff game in Pittsburgh when he left Randall C. standing on the sidelines because he wanted to stick with "his" (injured) QB. That may not have lost the game but with Randall in the hurry up we at least had a chance to win it.
For the last few years he played "not to lose" and inspired the offense to believe that he didn't trust them to order carry out.
Fans were disgusted, we have hope with Harbaugh.
Down the road we will see if Ray gets a clipboard, Lord knows he has been trying to earn it even when injured because he really loves the game.
Billick did reach out to the community, that was inspired and generous.
Let that be his legacy along with the SB ring.
Time for a new ring and a new attitude.

we can't cure our qback problems with a new one this year. we can maybe get very lucky in the draft, and have somebody who is a real good prospect, but at least three years away. steve was a very good qback, and if he trains very hard this off season, and comes to camp looking five years younger, then yes he could have a very good year (look at mr. green bay). the tough decision our new coach will need to make EARLY in training camp is who is going to qback.. EARLY! at the pro level football is a HUGH business. this decision will separate the boys from the men. GOOD LUCK coach harbaugh.

Interesting q&a. i thought the firing was handled poorly at best and unprofessional at worst. The process of finding a new head coach was better done and frankly, I always preferred Harbaugh to Garrett because of his range of experience. I think Harbaugh is going to be a great coach. Now all we need is a franchise QB and I sure as hell don't see one on our present roster. Bottom line is that it is the one position that makes or breaks a head coach and in the end it broke Brian Billick. Go Ravens.

He let the inmates run the asylum. A NFL team and so many ego's is going to be leaps and bounds different than a IT recruiting firm and its managers. Billick did need to go but the way he went was not done right, you just turned over the keys.

The players were happy with Billick at 13-3. They're not happy at 5-11. Therefore, he must go. And the players have no accountability.

Really, Steve, I can see through the wool over my eyes.

I wish Steve Bisciotti was my boss in the Baltimore Police Department. He is a top level owner and manager, period.

I saw McNair on NFL network at a Titans celebrity event about a week ago, he is still overweight and out of shape. You Baltimore fans can roll McNair into some more bubble wrap then jam his jersey on for maybe 6 games next year. Your GM is trying to keep the fans interested by keeping aging vets and refusing to do wholesale changes. The new coach will need 3 years to adjust along with any new QB he selects, meanwhile the average age of the defense will be 38. GOOD LUCK...

no quarterback could succeed in billick's toilet bowl system, the best mcnair did was when he barely knew the system and most likely made decisions on the fly. I think he should be given a chance under a guy who clearly knows offense in cam cameron and then you make the decision about him after a year in a quality system.

You can't start Troy yet...look what happened to Kyle Boller when we started him too early! Let Troy smith get a couple more years as a backup under his belt and then give him a shot. Exposing him too early will erode his confidence and just spells disaster.

Wow. I really don't know what to say about this interview. Bisciotti really doesn't see a discipline problem with the Ravens? He thinks McNair is going to be able to play? He doesn't see a connection between "The Palace" and the players copping a spoiled attitude? He thinks Brian Billick's training camps were fine? He doesn't see a connection between the player's mutiny against Billick and what that might encourage down the line?

Wow. I think I understand now why he doesn't do too many interviews.

I liked the interview till it got to McNair. If he is the Q.B., we can look forward to more 5 yard passes and 3 yards and a cloud of dust running game. Same-0..Same-0. With McNair...the offense has to be perfect for 10 to 15 plays just to kick a field goal. Please...get us a Q.B. with some zip!
