John, come on, last chance at the big dance! Suck it up and put on your pads. Obviously you still want to play. I would say if you go 90% it is still on the same level with the rest of the NFL. If your not willing to play at that level, then jump in your golf cart, and give the Ravens some cap room. In other words, "Defecate or get off the pot"

Last year, if I'm not mistaken, Ogden said that the doctors mislead him about getting surgery on the toe, and that if he had been better informed, he would have gotten the surgery. Well, he STILL hasn't gotten the surgery, yet he's still d*cking around with "Maybe I'll play, maybe I won't". WTF. Why the Ravens don't tell HIM what their plans are, instead of waiting for him to tell them, is a continuation of the tail wagging the dog/the inmates running the asylum. But like parents unwilling to deal with a spoiled child via tough love, they get what they deserve for allowing it to keep happening over and over again. Enough is enough already with this crapola.

Just get it over with. Retire already. We need to move on. Love ya, see ya in the ring of honor. Retire your jersey. But just get it done.

I agree. If you needed surgery then JO, you probably need it now. Instead, the season has been over 2 1/2 months. Enough already.

Thanks for all of the good years, JO. Even at 80-90%, you'd still get the job done. I know your toe must hurt, but its not like you have a broken leg. If you want to be done, then be done.

This may change our draft strategy. May need to try and get a LT in the 1st round and hope our secondary can survive another year. We may have a shot at Clady by the 8th pick. After he and Long are off the board, the LT possibilities drop off considerably.

The Ravens will be fine move Terry back to the left which is his natural playing position and put Gaither in on the right side until he is ready to move to the left. Gaither did well considering his inexperience last season. The Ravens most dire need is at cornerback especially with the pass happy offenses that have emerged, with out a decent back up it will be another long season.

Good bye Johnathon. You've been great. Injuries take their toll on the body so retire and have a good life after football.

The issue really is that J.O. is holding the Ravens hostage in terms of the cap. J.O. retiring would open up a significant amount of cap space. It's all well and good for him to say go on without me. But, the Ravens will still be hindered by his cap number.

He is being selfish and not helping the team at this point. He needs to make the decision.

Look for Ogden in New England. If not this year than next. The contract probably has already been worked out.

Go J.O.get Gebco, commercials will help you out in retirement. Let the ravens start this season without you and enjoy all the money you socked away. Your history now and will be able to attend all the raven reunions from here on out. Maybe do announcing like Goose does, it would be great to get an offensive lineman to give his take on the game.

The sentiment is what are the Ravens waiting for ? Lucky for him I'm not the GM he would not be pulling that BS with team at stake ! That syndrome would have ceased to exist last year ! Clady is hurt due too an combine injury and hopefully Mc will still be on the board for the Ravens to mull over ! JO is not he altimate team member and now its time for Harbaugh to state is montra, which is what ? I heard it was team, team and the team. Some players just don't get ! JO instead of us calling your name due respect as previously we may be saying out loud "Get that bum off the field". Think about it ravens ! Also, Mongo said it maybe a draft strategy on the Ravens behalf, He may be on to something !

It's time to go JO , you have been a nice fit here but it is time to bring in the younger guys with more energy and focus , if you are not sure , you have lost your focus,,,,,,,,goodbye.

By the way , two nice moves by the Ravens for needed back-up help at LB and DB..........quiet but nice.........

Yeah sure, he won't play if not at 100%. My bet is if another million or two is thrown his way, toe be damned; he'll be out there come July. There's an old saying: "Either s*** or get off the pot"

I agree, if he's gonna go, then let him go. JO's been a great player....but we could use the cap room for more secondary players and O-Linemen.

Ogden = overrated, overrated, overrated.

The reason he was successful was his size, not his skill. If he had been an average sized (and shaped)lineman, he would be an average player.

One of these days I'm going to stop yawning at Ogden's constant no news articles. I just don't know when that will be. Please just retire already! You should have had the surgery a couple of months ago if you were at all mulling over coming back. Good bye and good luck. See you in the Hall.

Good riddance to that fat slob. It will be strange to see some down-field blocking from our left tackle (instead of "I got my guy, I'm done") and no helmets being thrown when he doesn't agree with a play-call. But I think we'll be fine...
