I know the last year and a half left a bad taste in some people's mouth. But he was the man. From day 1, played along side and against Pro-Bowlers and never looked out of place. We'll miss you J.O.

I can't for the life of me understand why anyone could have a bad taste in their mouth about JO... He was to the Ravens what Cal Ripken was to the Os. There were times during the streak when Cal should have been sitting, but we the fans gave him a pass. JO was so good that we expect perfection from him in all aspects of his playing and behavior. He was totally committed to the team during his entire tenure. He earned the right to "take the time" needed for his retirement decision. This man goes from outstanding player to living legend and he deserves the respect that goes with it.

Jamison...How can you forget Jim Harbaugh in your list of QB's. It's lucky 13 not 12.

It's about time. He should have done this last year. With everyone retiring this year he won't make the HOF his first year.

Ogden was nowhere near what the Ripken was to the Orioles. I remember him complaining after Billick's fist year and asking (in so many words) to move to another team. He threw his hands up in the air constantly after a bad play. I will miss his prime years production but will not miss his play a few games here and there over the past two. So long

I attened the away SF game last year. Arrived early. Went down to the first row and all of us took pictures and chatted with JO. He took his time and made sure everyone got a photo. He was very cordial and extremely polite.
