" Sometimes, players aren't washed up but just need a change of scenery to get them excited again."

Preston, I hear "The Chicago Defender" is hiring. Im sure you'd have a blast there.

Nicely done with the published information. It is good to see that you are capable of FINE REPORTING and that you do not have to rely on bitter criticism and pompous superior attitude to achieve good reporting. Proves that not all of the journalists at the SUN are clueless and "No KNOWLEDGE" characters.

Sometimes, players aren't washed up but just need to show up to camp in shape, stop complaining, and lay off the Newports. *Cough* Jamal *Cough*

Why the constant jabbing at Ozzie? Right player, right price? That hasn't changed? He got Willis to replace whiner Jamal, and Willis had a great year, and will probably have an even better year with Cameron using him properly in our new offense.

And Mikey, when Kirk and Mark invite you to Hooters at 6 AM for their "anniversary" party, lay off the 20 piece buffalo wings. Way too early for FRRRRRMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMPPPPPPPP PPPPPPPPPPPPPTTTTTTTTTTTTT oops, excuse me.

I had my doubts/worries when Billick was fired. All gone. I'm excited now. The new coaches are head and shoulders better than the old ones. Way to go Bischotti, Newsome, etc.

Nice job of cutting and pasting your same old regurgitated BS. If this guy was white he would be fired in a New York minute.

THe problem is no other paper besides a lousy rag like the Sun would employ a worthless piece of crap like Preston.

What is up with the hating on Mike Preston? The man is just doing his job, and part of that job is expressing his opinion. If it's so bad, DON"T READ IT!

The Preston haters are getting ridiculous. Jamison Hensley is the Ravens beat writer, he's the unbiased coverage of the team. Preston is basically a Ravens op/ed. He does his job well. He sparks debate and discussion. Thats what he is supposed to do. He's not supposed to be vanilla and boring. You all obviously read him daily. If his opinions are too much for you, don't read him.

Hey Mike, what do you think of the Offensive line coach? If I recall correctly, didn't Detroit give up a lot of sacks every year? Is this a good signing? Or should we again expect Zero pass protection for the next "so many" years?

Mike, keep up the good work your honest and you know what you’re talking about, it make a big differences when you played the game. I look forward to next season and reading your columns. So far I agree the Ravens have made all the right moves.
Now Let’s not just defense, not just offense and not just special teams,

the problem with all you people is you cant stand to hear the truth, preston speaks the truth priod! i like a columnist who tells it how it is. he only bashed billick when it was due, when the offense plays poor or defense plays poor, i just so happen there was alot of bashing this year, bu they deserved it...
