I'm proud of Jon Condo, I know him personally and know his backround. He's always worked hard at everything he does. He grew up in a small town where there weren't many chances for advancement but he overcame that and plays for the NFL; that's quite and achievement.

I second that statement, Jon Condo is not only a gifted athlete, he is a stand up guy and he will go a long way in the NFL.

It is a good thing he wasn't inclined to follow the prevailing wisdom of the locals who said he should have gone to California (PA)instead of U of Maryland. The advice was that he should shoot for more realistic goals, instead of wasting his time where he will never play.
