Excuses, excuses.

Typical Packer fan would blame the refs or some fluke play for costing a game even if they were beat by 40 points at the end.

Lame!

Packers fans - your team sucks this year, just admit it and move on. Maybe you can still get on the Lions bandwagon? I hear they have a couple seats left...

The Packers biggest mistake- getting rid of Brett Farve. Where are their excuses for that?

This is interesting. The Packers are claiming they lost the game by making mistakes. Isn't that what sports is all about? The other guy plays better than you because they don't make many mistakes, you make the mistakes and lose. I just hope the Vikes keep improving week after week, and then November 1st really put it to the Packers in Lambeau - maybe then they will admit that it's football, one team has to win, the other has to lose no matter what happened. This is typical McCarthy and Rodgers who refuse to admit the Vikes defensive line played good, and Brett was Brett. I can tell you one thing, the Vikes will protect the center of the field better next time. Go Vikes!!!

How nice of the Packers to not give any credit to Favre--even if they win in G.B. in Nov. the Packers have already proven to be big losers! As for Rodgers--as long as everything is good so is he? Thompson and McCarthy got what they ask for--they may have a future QB--Vikes have the one they need now.

The packer offensive line folded like a $2.00 lawn chair, but I'm sure they were a bargain.
I liked the camera angle of TT, when the game was close. I just wish they would have panned over to him when the game got out of hand.

The Vikings streak against gb stands at TWO, soon to be THREE

There is no wonder that Favre wanted to retire with the Offensive line that TT put together.

This was no win for the Packers. You guys wanted to beat BF more then he wanted to beat you. Why should we thank GB? You guys didn't want him anymore. You just got owned by your former QB. How does it feel?

you held serve on your court, now in a few weeks,we shall hold serve on our court!
Both teams made some mistakes,it happens. The Vikes pass rushed and were super effective, the Packers stopped Adrian Peterson and forced BF to beat them with his arm, which was the proper and obvious game plan and unfortunately for GB and fortunately for Minn,Minn got the best of the game plan.
Can viking fans realistically expect BF to have a game like last night again against GB? either time against Chi. Remember BF started great last year and fizzled the last 5 or 6 games or so,Yes he was hurt, but, hes also 39 then and 40 next week so is it fair to expect that level of last night? Cutler in Chicago is getting better and they are also 3-1 WITHOUT BRIAN URLACHER! 3 teams separated by 2 games,it really is fun and looking at the standings,Its still anyone division to win.
Bottom line is The vikings were the better team last night,BF played extremely well, the Packers obviously need Chad Clifton at LT,AR cant hang on to the ball,as he did a few times lasat night. The Packer fun defense played better then expected,i dont know Chester Taylor and fair or unfair to Chester Taylor,,i do know AP ran 25times for 55 Yards,so the defense did a hell of a job against AP!
Congrats to Minn on a big win!

It is typical that the Packers cannot accept defeat and be humble. Instead they make excuses as if they actually were actually the better team and should have won. What a joke. The Vikings completely dominated them physically and mentally. The Vikings are one of the best teams in the league, getting better week by week. The score was a lot closer than the actual game. We have at least 3 freaks on our team. Brett Favre, 39 yrs old and still throwing like that? Are you kidding me. Adrian Peterson, had an off night but still the most explosive back in the league. And Jared Allen, need I say anything more. The Packers have 0 freaks and just average players. November 1st will prove my point. Go Vikes!

Nice bogus interference in the end zone. That was huge and even the announcers could not believe that call...

If the game had ended up with a loss for the Vikes you have to admit you would be all over that call.

( and rightfully so as it was a laugher )

NFL officiating is a joke. There were calls missed both ways. The officiating is affecting the quality of the games. It makes watching NFL football really hard. College games are much better officiated.

As always Eric, kudos for the compliments when I know it hurts. I still have high hopes for this Vikings team in GB on 11/1 and running the streak to 3. Even Clifton can't resurrect that O-line if you ask me because it was more than just one man's folley.
Anyway, keep your chin up because Rodgers will be a force for many years to come.

"It is typical that the Packers cannot accept defeat and be humble."

And Viking fans are when they lose? I seem to recall when there was an actual trouncing 34-0 at Lambeau in 2007 and the Queen fans did nothing but complain about Harris' dirty hit on AP's knee. The last two years at the Dome the Vikings have physically dominated the Pack and still practically lose both games. Remember the last trouncing between these teams was by the hands of the Pack on the Queens. Queens fans cry a lot more than we do. Where's Gary Anderson when you need him. HA HA HA HA!!!!

These two teams will split the series and in GB I'd expect the Packers to get the calls. The pack was in the red zone 3 times and came up without points. That was the reason they lost and not the refs but that call was an embarrasment to the profession..oh yea..these guys are Ins. agents during the week and not professionals..

You obviously didn't see what eric wrote. No excuses, GB plain and simple didn't execute in the redzone.

What does anyone expect from Cheeseland? The players know they got beat like a rented mule. Yeah they stopped Peterson....big deal. Favre beat them over the top. Maybe in Lambeau the Packers will try to stop the passing game and Peterson will make them pay, or Taylor, or Harvin.

You can cover one but you can't cover them all.

Unless the Packers fix their O line the same thing will happen.

Rodgers is a good QB buy you can't make plays on your back.

The key in this game was, as it always is, the line play. Favre had time. Rodgers did not.

GB got some lucky plays as well. I'm still trying to figure out when the Refs blow a play dead.....Was it just me, or was Peterson's forward progress stopped and then he was pushed back about 2 yrds b4 that "Fumble"........I don't know...Whatever
