It's really to sad and bad to see the greedy NFL leaving such a wonderful place to host a game. Very few folks know the NFL owns all images of the game and reluctantly shares them with our local media. When you see highlights on your local news you're seeing video the NFL approved for release and provided via the NFL camera feed. Now they are taking away the game from Hawaii and that truely is heartbreaking to see. I wish Hawaii success replacing this game. Good luck

Good luck it will be back --- because the players want it back football is a job for them --- having another game on the mainland is just more work --- and probowl players don't need the money coming to Hawaii is a vacation and a reward --- they will demand that it come back

Don't understand why the NFL "talking heads" are ruining a good thing. If it ain't broke, don't fix it? Do you suppose some of those heads own property in Florida or perhps part of the stadium where the game will be paid, or maybe the franchises and/or vendors who provide the food. It's gotta be something like that, that will fatten their wallets. Otherwise they would leave things alone. I always look forward to watching the Pro Bowl from Hawaii. I used to love when they did the NFL Superstars competitions there too. That was great. Just my humble opinion

Hawaii should learn that even if there is money out there being greedy as the state is on hotel room and car rental will eventually take its toll on the people.......But then again we are stupid enought to vote the mayor as well as the governor back in to office.

Commissioner Goodell has his head up his A**!! Why did Hawaii host the Pro Bowl for 30 years??? BECAUSE IT WORKS!! Miami blows compared to Hawaii Nei. The PEOPLE want it to stay, the PLAYERS want it to stay, everyone on the mainland likes to see Hawaii while we're freezing our Okoles off in the middle of Winter. Goodell should have his head examined assuming he prys it out.

it's sad for the pro bowl to leave hawaii. i attended a few and had great seats! the players love coming to hawaii and hawaii loved having the players and visitors coming year-after-year! the one thing i would like to see improve is aloha stadium! it's a long time coming! i know it's been a long time coming but football is a great generator of income!

Good to get rid of them....NFL players are overpaid, prices for games beyond what's its worth. Big egotisic promotion for players reaping the benefits of our armed forces who are killed and wounded every day....how many of them are willing to sacrifice (Tillman) their careers in order to make America safe? None.....maybe we should take a percentage of their salary to pay for veterans family left behind, struggling to make ends meet, while these players enjoy a safe economic benefits without worrying if a bullet or bomb will take that away forever!

So you're saying EACH of those estimated 27,000 people spent well over $1000 EACH while here for a pro-bowl game. First of all, I find it hard to believe that many people would actually fly all the way here to watch that game (especially since the TV ratings are always terrible) and I find it even harded to believe EACH one spent OVER $1000 each while here. How much does Hawai'i put out to cover all the COSTS associated with this event and all the FREEBIES the players expect.(And trust me, they expect a lot of FREEBIES. Talk about some spoiled entitlement attitudes!!!) I don't think this game is any big loss for Hawai'i or any other city it might go to. It's just another event to keep NFL football in our faces & on TV & most importantly, an event to GIVE something to some already overpaid players.

Blame the State of Hawaii for this - for letting Aloha Stadium go to shambles. Aloha Stadium hasn't changed much in the last 30+ years. The NFL has an image to uphold, and it cannot continue to have the ProBowl in the rust bucket also known as Aloha Stadium.

Hawaii residents can blame this on the failed policies of this 50-year, incompetent Democrat regime.

So would you all prefer we spend money to update the stadium or fix the roads??? You do know we're facing a huge budget shortfall already this year, don't you?
