Rumor has it that the Cowboys are talking to us about Beck and I'm NOT KIDDING. If the trifecta is not interested in retaining Beck, DO NOT CUT HIM... trade for draft picks.

Personally, I'd rather see McCown traded and Beck kept here. By my clock, Beck is still a rookie and we don't know what we have in him yet. It's premature to write him off as of right now. Thoughts?

I don't see much of a market for either McCown or Beck. I am pretty sure one of them is getting the boot within the next few days and i suspect it will be Beck. He just does not have a whole lot going for him. He was slated as a possible Franchise QB by the former regime and is now in the Backseat to both Veteran QB's that have been brought in since and the newly drafted QB as well.

It smells like a(nother) wasted 2nd Round Draft pick.

Your future is already set in Henne its just a matter of one seasoning until he takes over. Chad P. will eventually become the backup if he is able to live with that.

This year they will keep three in the event Chad P. gets hurt (always a possiblity with his history). By next year you can afford to look at quarterbacks in the fourth and fifth rounds for development.

Beck should be traded, being realistic about it ( a fifth round). McGowan you keep for this year only.

Believe it or not we are set at quarterback and running back two key positions I thought we would be very weak in. As for receiver Ginn still hasn't sold me yet. But there are positive signs. Play the young guys and forget the senior players out there (Glenn, Horn)with the high price tags and egos. We don't need it. We're very young, might as well let the young guys mature together with the Chad's. We will not be competitive until 2010, so time is on our side.

get a good pick for Becj, whatever you do, because he is going to be a good player for somebody and he has value.

You can tell he's a rookie coach when he can't figure out who to start.
I don't care which one it is. If it's Pennington we can get some revenge and if it's the rook, he will suck like he did at Michican under pressure.
After he gets belted (Henne) a few times he won't be the same quarterback.
haha

The jets could not name the starting QB. Now penny is going to light your world and you are scared that,s OK after the fins sweep the jets you can come over to the winning side. NOT

I think Pennington should start because of his knowledge on the field and for as good as Henne get his feet wet then become their best QB since Marino

For all u Jets fans Farv wont last long and you will still suck like you always have! It your owners fault for letting your new retired QB lead you to a suberbowl.

Beck is toast and rightfully so. He was Cam's blunder (did you see Brady Quinn the other night?) I get sick when I think of that draft. Let Beck go and move on. The Cowboys are not going to give a nickel for Beck. Trust me on that. The Dolphins need to get a receiver to be competitive in their division. They looked real good on Saturday but it is preseason and all but still Jacksonville is no slouch. Kansas City is the mystery team of the NFL so lets see how they respond from last week.

Jets fans will regret the trade off for Farve over Pennington. Dolphins struck paydirt with Chad P. Henne looks like the future captain of the team. Thank heavens!
Parcells will mold this team like he did the Cowboys. It's just the beginning of a 3 or 4 year plan. It will happen! Guaranteed!

Maybe you're not old enough to remember Ryan Leaf.

Beck has never been given a fair shake. At one of their last practices he threw 3 td's to 1 pick, whereas McCown and Henne both had picks and no td's. However Parcells didn't get him so he's probably gone, but if he goes to a team that isnt a horrific 1 - 15 and gets a shot we'll all be whining he's gone.
