Let's face it...Pennington doesn't have the arm to give our receivers a chance...even with his good play action. No way do we put Henne in. Sooo...why not see what we have in Beck? Stronger arm, some experience, and assuredly hungry. Pennington is a stop gap anyway, we aren't headed for the playoffs, and we need to know about Beck. What's the worst that can happen...we lose and Beck has no trade value? Maybe we stretch the field a little w/ Beck, open up the running game.

Why arent you all talking about my Teddy? I wish I would have paid Manjina instead of Canmoron to draft my boy cause cam is gone and i can no longer bribe the coaches here.. Im gonna fly to NYC to talk to that old guy (hopefully he has his prescription glasses)and bring my strap on for that manjina.

JKW if your not John Beck in disguise you must be the dumbest Fin fan ever. Just in case you don't get it.... Beck couldn't get the ball off at practice against ***---> OUR DEFENSE!!!! <---*** He will never be as good as Pennington (and I think penny is just above average).

My only bitch with playing Chad, jr last week was putting him in so late. I would have played him much earlier. I would hope if this week plays out like last week we will see jr playing sooner.

Remember when most Phin fans wanted John Beck to start right away? And when that time came, the fans realized how bad he played they bashed him... well, If you start Henne at this point, without him sitting the season and learning the NFL ways, then your going to hear the same complaining all over again. So please, just let Henne sit and learn, be patience. The people who built the Cowboys are here in Miami and I can't wait for Henne to pass for 300+ yards and 2 td's a game.
As soemone that has mentioned letting Chad Henne get his starts, I will agree with your post. Beck was put in to early, and look how he is recieved in Miami. Sure, he had funblitis, ALA TONY ROMO in the Monday night game against Philly. I am sure HENNE would make some Bonehead moves as a rookie as well. They all do.
I somewhat agree with the guy who sugested sitting PENN, and seeing Beck start. Could be like the chargers when they had BRees, with Rivers waiting in the wings. Beck has a stronger arm then Pennington by far. But I also know that wont happen. He isnt , wasnt PARCELLS Pick.

in my opinion i think he (henne) was more than stellar and i saw glimpses of marino in there. he threw the ball quick and effective and with a lot of steam on it. ill admit it i think he looked very good and the future looks bright for this kid and i can't wait to see him control the offense

There is no controversy and there should be none. The team needs stability and continutiy right now, and that needs to start w/ the OL, the WR's, and the secondary. If Henne is brought in now, and he hits some bumps as he surely will--it happens to all young QB's--what happens then? People will be calling for Penny or Beck. Either way would involve another QB switch and inability to create timing or continuity with the wideouts.

Like everyone else, I look forward to the time when Henne is the No. 1, but it doesn't have to be now--esp. w/ the Pats coming up, on the road no less. Let's take our time and let this thing develop the right way.

There is no controversy, Chadley is the QB, Henne is unknown by the NFL, his limited success would be just that..limited, let him sit and watch, we are not going anywhere so whats the rush, Chad has an almost impossible task, trying to time up with these sorry, sucky receivers so what can ya do..nothing., if your expectations for this team are low, which they SHOULD be, then you wont panic and just take it slow, it will take 4-5 years before we start straightening out. Hey, even i, the GREATEST QB in the history of the national football league while good, started out slow, then Dolfan Denny started waving that towel and i felt good about myself, Claire worked me over when i got home after the game and that gave me strength to go on. Anyway, all will change and we will win the superbowl in 20 -30 years or so. Stay tuned
i actually want to be alive to witness a miami super bowl i might be dead in 20-30 years

From now on, Misterio, I'm going to just ignore you. When you come up with something substantive we can discuss, I'll engage. Until then, have a fine life.
