the question should be how do we replace the secondary. that is where we see the poorest play so far this season.

agreed.
Secondary play is horrible. Better off playing prevent defense and keep opposing receivers in front of them.

Our crop of receivers are horrible also. Can't get open. Dan Marino in his prime who have a tough time.

And Chris Crock of Doo-Doo is the weakest link in it. I think after last weeks thrashing we are finally gonna come to life against the Patsies*... If the secondary can keep the burnings to a minimum, we are gonna be in this one down to the wire...GO PHINS!!!

Yep, kind of hard to establish a running game and control the clock when your team gives up 67 and 75 yard touchdowns on the opponents first possession. The secondary has been atrocious.

This is one thing that has been a common theme over the past few years. The other team seems to always score on the opening drive. I bet you the opponent scored TD's on the first drive in 12 of 16 games last year. Terrible.

There is no controversy, Chadley is the QB, Henne is unknown by the NFL, his limited success would be just that..limited, let him sit and watch, we are not going anywhere so whats the rush, Chad has an almost impossible task, trying to time up with these sorry, sucky receivers so what can ya do..nothing., if your expectations for this team are low, which they SHOULD be, then you wont panic and just take it slow, it will take 4-5 years before we start straightening out. Hey, even i, the GREATEST QB in the history of the national football league while good, started out slow, then Dolfan Denny started waving that towel and i felt good about myself, Claire worked me over when i got home after the game and that gave me strength to go on. Anyway, all will change and we will win the superbowl in 20 -30 years or so. Stay tuned

Don't go lobbying for Henne till the offensive line is ready. It was one drive late in a lost game. Yes, he will be good. No need to get him killed before his time though. The secondary will take a while as well. Crocker is a crock though. Sometimes I get the feeling the wrong players are being played for a purpose. Not sure what that purpose is yet though.

they should ask if there will be a coaching controversy. Cameron all over again (not playing the best players).

Remember when most Phin fans wanted John Beck to start right away? And when that time came, the fans realized how bad he played they bashed him... well, If you start Henne at this point, without him sitting the season and learning the NFL ways, then your going to hear the same complaining all over again. So please, just let Henne sit and learn, be patience. The people who built the Cowboys are here in Miami and I can't wait for Henne to pass for 300+ yards and 2 td's a game.

But, the beautiful thing even though it will take us 20-30 years to win a superbowl, the only thing the J-E-T-S (who suck, suck, suck, by the way) will have remotely resembling a superbowl, will be the old grainy footage of Joe Namath sticking his finger in the air (just before he licks it and sticks it up Brett Favrerwerererwere arse)...because rest assured Dolfans, the only guarantee on this planet is that the Jets will not win a superbowl before the Dolphins do, because they are cursed, simply because of there "fans", the lowlife, reprobate, dirtbag new yorka's and the even worser fans, the ex dirtbag new yorkers who did not have the skills needed to survive up there who moved to fla and continued to tell us how great everything in new york is (everything that is but living there) so laugh all ya want, to JETfa(n)G, and to Greg the slimeball in miami and the other clown with 500 different alias's (all with AOL), we wont be winning any superbowls soon, but you guys will NEVER win a superbowl, Now, if you excuse me, i have to go to the jewlers, i need to pick up that custom diamond encrusted dildo for claire, she cant wait to use it tonight.

Shouldn't those stats be yards per attempt, not per completion?

Im thinking the same thing, first time he throws an INT or the line fails and he takes a few sacks, all we gonna here is Henne is a bust... I do agree with putting him in, but not only when the score is lopsided, but every now and then to mix things up a little. This could also work to our advantage, as long as we dont use him just when they know we want to go deep. Hit them with that when they least expect it...GO PHINS!!!
