How much is the cap hit if we cut Beck and bring in another QB?
At this point, I'm totally cool with bringing back Daunte for a year or two.

All of you guys really slay me. Chad beat out McCown and a struggling John Beck. Chad did good but he did throe an INT while John threw a terrible INT.

Please explain to me the difference between an INT and a Terrible INT? McCown is the Vet but and Chad loooks better but its John who is struggling?

Why is it that only John gets all the adjectives? Is he that much better than the other two and you just have to cut him down that much more. All three paperws are very biasedthat way against John. Why don't you just report the news or is that to far over your head?

If Brady Quinn was on the team No.10 would be the undisputed starter and hier to the Marino Throne!

McCown and Beck would be diggiing ditches together in Utah and Chad would be backing up Rothlesberger in Pittsburgh!

Beck was a misstake last year. I like the guy, but he hasn't show anything last year, or what I have heard, training camp, to say he belongs as a starter. I would Take Sage over beck. I think Josh will start the first 3-6 games, but see Chad starting the rest. He will be the future QB for years, and I can't wait to see him grow. It would be nice have that happen, then next years draft they can get some WR's and BD's.
Ron, what is "throe " mean lol.
I was sad to see Zack go, but I understoon the move, and hoped that he would just retire with all the head injuries. But JT, he can dance his way to Hollywood, I don't care about him as a football player anymore, after all, that doesn't matter to him anymore, he wants to be a reality star now. Only people "Truley Blessed are the fins, for getting a player out of here that only has half of his heart in the game. Good luck with the "Movie star life."

If you have ever been on finheaven.com you will know that slippery soap has said all along that John Beck is a Bust. He is not an NFL QB, he is to small and weak.

The fact that he is a mormon is a big problem he does not have the killer instinct needed to be a productive NFL QB.

Scam Cameron screwed all the fins fans on draft day 2007. Brady Quinn was there for the taking with the 9th pick and the SOB SCAM picked Ted Ginn instead. Ginn SUCKS! and then in the 2nd Round he really screwed us taking Beck HOwdy Doody look a like.

We could have had at the very least Trent Edwards but NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Any other Front office would have taken Brady Quinn at nine and then gone and taken a reciver with the 2nd pick. I guy like S.Rice or Steve Smith of the Giants.

WTF I HATE SCAM CAMERON!

This season we could have easily traded Jason Taylor for Brady Quinn and fixed our QB problems forever!

Not really.

Henne will be alot better the Quinn, or Quinn would be starting for the browns. Last year. He was beat for the starting job, he must not be all that. ;)

That's funny, I would take Sage back also. We should have never given him up.

I think Henne will be the starter. Although you'd rather not have a rookie start, I believe that if he picks up the offense in camp, then he should start if he is head and shoulders above the others. He was hand picked by Parcells, so I think it is just a matter of time..

My preference would be to start Henne and rely on the running game to help him develop. Get Henne real game experience while you catch Ricky and Ronnie early in the season when they are healthy and rely on Jake Long and the big line.

Go PHINS!!!!!

easily traded?

now, why would cleveland give up their second pick last year for a player that may only play 1 more season? if you're cleveland wouldn't you hold on to him to 1 - see if anderson is the real deal and 2 - if anderson is the real deal, trade quinn next year for more value?

secondly, you trade JT, you have 4 qb's on the roster, and at the end of the season you have to cut one of them...that leaves you with...nothing for JT... this way we have 2 picks next year, including a 2nd rounder.

and third...ENOUGH with the QUINN comments!

I am a bit of a mixed bag. A Brit that supported the Dolophins "forever" from across the pond, lived in Broward for several years, support all the S. Florida pro teams but my college team is the Ohio State Buckeyes (yes its a geographical thing!)

The point is I watched Chad Henne play for the Buckeye's arch rivals Michigan for the last 3 years. He impressed me tremendously. Even though the Buckeyes breat the Wolverines in defense and offense they were far superior. Without Henne, the games would have been blow outs. With him they were very very close.

When I saw the Dolphins had picked him last draft I was VERY happy. The guy is quality. Look for him to become the next Dan Marino. NO - I do NOT mean as a player - Dan is a one off and nobody should be compared to him. Look for Henne to become the next drafted QB after Marino to establish himself for years as the franchise starting QB.

Lets look forward to a better season than last year, folks!

The Phins better decide on a QB after the Bucs game. We cannot wait on this because the starting QB needs to build a repoire with all the new receivers and tight ends on the team. To me, Henne appears to be the right choice. I would rather have Henne wait one year out, but this team needs a Leader now because nobody else is stepping up as one since ZT and JT are gone.

Cleveland may well have traded Quinn for JT. JT will play for 2 years and probably 4-5 more years. Washington gave a 2nd and got the assurance from JT for at LEAST 2 more years. The Fins could've corrected the Brady Quinn botch deal. IMHO. I, too have been saying Beck is horrible for a long time. Many argued. Now, most are starting to agree. If Quincy Carter signs, Beck will be the one cut soon.

It doesn't matter who's taking snaps ! Who are they throwing too? Derek Hagan & Ted Ginn? Please! Ginn is a returner not an everydown reciever. He's at best a number 3 option on any other team!

Is this the same Roger? A well thought out comment? I disagree with you, but you put up a tought out argument!

If quinn was that good, there would be a QB controversy in Cleveland...and so far, Anderson has been the clear cut starter...that's why I'm not convinced with Quinn.

Remember in San Diego, Phillips and Drew Brees? Brees was doing well, and yet Phillips, the rookie was given the chance despite how brees was playing (this was before brees surgery). now it turns out brees may be better than phillips, but that's a different story!
