Last year Dolphins fans would have likely been in favor of team execution. Not necessarily offensive execution, but electric chair, gas chamber or a lethal injection-style slaying that some might say was ...

My hat is off for Fins fans here. I never saw the Jaguars being dominated like that before. Everything went wrong no excuses. Now, I am glad it happen in the preseason and we will turn it around. I do believe that the BUCS will feel the wrath next weekend when we play them. The Jaguars are far superior than the effort demonstrated last night. For now, great job against us and thanks for teaching us a lesson of reality. Any given Sunday.
Perfect example. A Jags fan posting good game on the forum. God, why can't all fans be like this?

happy with the out come!!! first and second unit played good. ted ginn raised a few brows. i hope he can keep it up. but im wondering why haven't da dolphins tried reggie torbor out at the weakside linebacker position???? i know they said he could play every position at linebacker. roth is okay, but he will get exposed in passing situations. GO DOLPHINS!!!!

1-15 in regular season when it counted moron. Ya we have been a bad team, but we are on the way back so watch out Patsfan, here come the Tuna's fish!!! We will beat you at home this year.
Jeez, maybe your right, How crazy would it be if the phins went 0-16 after going 1-15 and losing their best player. What was I thinking.

3rd team will be working for UPS...why the negativity so early?
It's not negativity. It's called realism. He also said "It looks promising" (I assume in a reference to the 1st-team play) I've never understood why being a fan ought to preclude a realistic assessment of a team.

Much to be encouraged about. Probably the most outstanding thing was the play of the rookies. Before the game, I said that would give us the best indication of what the future holds. The lines were physical against a very good, physical team with one of the better RB tandems in the league. That's exciting. There is admittedly still a serious lack of depth (and overall talent) but, for once, it appears the OL may be solidifying. The best part of that has to be Donald Thomas. You expect it out of J. Long, being the #1 overall. But the addition of Thomas, if he continues to improve, means we could have a good line for yrs to come ... all are young. Re-signing Carey to a multi-yr extension has to be a priority. We need that draft pick for other positions ... notably a shutdown CB or big, physical WR w/ good speed. Also, like the play of Merling and Langford. Perhaps we're getting an inkling of what the Trifecta saw. Anyway, it was nice not to be shoved around for a change. I've got my fingers crossed, but perhaps Henne will be the long-term solution we've been waiting for. Of course, the comparisons b/w he and Beck really aren't fair since Henne has the advantage of playing behind a much-improved OL, which is actually allowing him the opportunity to get comfortable in the pocket and survey the field ... a luxury Beck never had last yr.

The Special teams and penalties do concern me. They can't afford mistakes in those areas.
