Last year Dolphins fans would have likely been in favor of team execution. Not necessarily offensive execution, but electric chair, gas chamber or a lethal injection-style slaying that some might say was ...

Both OL and DL looked good against Jags 1st unit. Both Chad's looked good. The younger has a gun. That pass to Ginn along the sideline was very impressive. Keeping 4 qb's on the roster I don't know. I think Beck may be gone this cut coming up unless we can get something for him.

Gotta love it! First team is all that matters and they looked great! Looks like Carpenter's the real deal and the Chad's are taking the snaps. And, oh yeah.....Jets SUCK!

huge gap between 1st and 2nd/3rd team. Fins need more depth, but it looks promising.

I really like the approach of these coaches; no warm fuzzy crap, like everyone plays, just the best potentials on the field; good lineof thinking, we need to see the best that we have

Little too early to get excited? Maybe..Preseason? Yeah...So--freakin--what..What we saw on Saturday night, our first teamers spanking a dominant team like the Jags up and down the field last night was just pure Dolphins pleasure...Our lines looked solid, opening holes for Ricky and he was hitting them like his 2003-4 form. The 2 Chad's looked more than solid playing great small ball while connecting on some nice 20 yarders down the middle..Carpenter is perfect for 4 FG's...Really decent play calling as well..kept a stout Jags D scampering to stop us from moving the chains...Opportunistinc D taking 2 balls away..Ted Ginn looking sharp our of the slot and Bess looks like he can be that 3rd receiver we need...Just gotta clean up those penalities and beat dem Jets week 1 and this will be an interesting rebuilding year for Dolfans...BTW- for you fantasy ballers, Marian Barber will be one of the leagues best RB's.After Peterson and Tomlinson he's the next clear choice, Dallas is gonna pound him 25 times per game, have a lot of leads and use him to grind the clock..Don't let him slip past the top 5..He's my sleeper to possibly get the rushing title this year..You heard it here first.

I don't know if anyone else switched between the NY game on NFL network and the Miami game, but NY was playing Washington. They have this guy #55 and he was being manhandled by NY's right guard. No pressure and no push at all on passing downs. Then on an end around to his side the receiver got outside of him for a 12 yard gain. Miami's rookie ends were blowing it up all night. These guys, the trifecta, proved to me they know how to rebuild and they know what they're doing. Can't wait for it to count.

After last year, last night is a big reason why I am sure the Fins will not be 1-15!!!
Usually we release players who come back to haunt us - but it looks like maybe the Jets were the foolish ones. Has the front office finally learned to pick the better pick winners?
Stay tuned!!

Since we're just cheering for laundry (2 weeks ago we're killing Jets fans bc Pennington can't throw; today, we all love Pennington), the laundry might as well look good.

That was fun to watch. Pre-season or not a step in the right direction. Solid O-line play, Henne showed great poise again, Ginn looked good, defense was solid. All around I feel like we are in good hands finally.Sporano seems like he's a fighter at heart, I like his passion. It's good to be a Dolfan again.

Here up north we watched the Jet game on NFL network and listened to the Fins on Sirius.

#55 looked absolutely lost and was dominated at the line of scrimmage. He's too good to have this happen all of the time. Not sure if the Jet line is that good or did #55 play one of the worst games in an outstanding career (exhibition & regular season).

As for the Fins it was nice to see encouraging signs. The third preseason game vs KC, when they play the starters the longest, can't come soon enough. Got to work on those penalties though!
