Learning from a real Pro like Chad is exactly what both our young back ups need, esp Beck. He already had the will and work ethic but, I think he needed to be shown "how to study in the NFL" much like some kids need to be shown how to study in college vs. high school.

Chad shows how to make up for any deficiencies with hard work and a lot of study. When they see someone else do it and get results from it, they won't think twice about applying the same principles toward their own preparation in the future. I really hope they both absorb as much as they can from him and that he in turn stays around after his playing career is over as a coach. The dude has earn much respect from me this year with his intelligence, professionalism, and leadership. GO FINS!

Great article. This is more telling of Penningtons future as a coach in the league when he's done playing. Reading this is also making me think Beck will not be traded unless someone offers a high draft pick for him, which I don't see happenning. It just seems like it would be a waste of an education he's getting that most other third string quarterbacks aren't getting. Pennington is the 2nd best signing in the last 10 years. Parcells is without question number one.

Penn signed a two year contract right? The way Penn is teaching the two young quarterbacks they may be great Quarterbacks in the future. I think its a great combination to have Henne arm strength and Penne brains and accuracy. That might be what Henne is in a couple of years if he keeps working with Penn
