1. I bow to no one.
2. Seems to me the Dolphins lost several games by a small margin too.
3. Whining about the Patriots on a Dolphin forum thread is cowardly . Why don't you exercise your futile attempt
at irritating us on the Patriot fans?
I bet you don't have the stones.

You are a legend in your own mind.
I don't find you irritating , just poorly informed , and without substance.
By stones , I meant balls , testicles , cohones , etc.

Perhaps old school uniforms and helmets like so many other teams have done will bring back some nostalgic pride and swagger and encourage a win. I vote for Bill Cowher for head coach, Bill Parcells for general manager and hiring either Jimmy Johnson or Ron Wolf as a talent evaluator for NFL drafts and get Dan Marino to be H. Wayne Huizenga's "football person" to help with "football" decisions.

You can dress up a pig , but it's still a pig.
Injuries have left us with second and third tier talent.

I've paid for all this talent and we are still going nowhere. What's a profiteering business owner supposed to do?
The sad part is, I don't even fire these coaches. They just up and leave as if I am the problem.
If these coaches can't bring our Division 3 players to next level, who needs em? As long as you fans stick with me and pay dearly for my consessions and tickets, we'll all be just fine.
You fans don't really want a Superbowl anyway. All you want is hope. Yes we dismantle the team every year because we don't want to match salaries and pay raises, but, at least I give you hope. I did give you Porter after cutting every player that did good last year and the years before. That's got to count for something.
Furthermore, I added more bars and restaurants so you folks could spend more money with me. This is where the fans are. Come mingle.
Don't get caught up in that whole winning thing, it's overrated. If it makes you feel better I'll say it again: Now it's really about winning. Happy Now? See you idiots I mean intelligent fans next week.
Could someone please tell Brinks we need more trucks to show up?
Thank You All!!!
why do uou people have to be so glib and comment about your idiots ideas except note that this story was about a son who lost his father a hero to him it was never sbout money or winning a super bowl it was about the way a father taught his son how to sct as a man and an nfl quaterback and his love for his father.i can relate to him loosing his dadto cancer a few years ago my dad also was taken my cancer and just last week my mom passed away from a cigarette related illness also. my dad was my hero also and all i was was his second oldest daughter. who took me to my first university of miami game at the old orange bowl and every questioned i asked about sports he would show me the time and sit down with me to explain my question. i loved and miss him dearly to this day as i am very sure mr. dan marino jr. will be feeling as i do still to this day. my emotions about just recently finding out my mom has now also passed away is so very difficult to explain when a person no longer has parents that are not alive any more. i can remember my dad getting on top of the roof of the house on a very hot fay in florida with the hode just sprinkling us kids i have 3 other sisters with the water it was so much fun i am suprised he did not fall off of the roof even the german shepsrd got in on the fun. anyway all you have left are good memories of a parent after they pass away. so please s. fla, be nice for a change.

Too bad Richard Williams has never been the class act that Dan Marino, Sr. has been. Class is a state of mind not a state of economics. Sorry for your loss Danny.

If Dan at the end of his career went and played for the Vikings
he would still have all the passing records. I still will never understand his decision to retire.I know the jerk Huzinega had allot to do with it. Dan in 1999 was offensive player of the month 2 times in 5 games. He came back to soon that year. He probally should of sat out the whole season he was never even 90 percent and come back in 2000.

Dan- I am very sorry for your loss. Your father was indeed a great man and we are lucky to have met him through you, and I might add, we are lucky to have you!
