Will his ankle bracelet allow him to move to MN?

Any team would be smart to give him a try. He is low risk. Pay him league minimum, make it a one year deal. You have nothing to lose. Cut him before the season if its not looking good. He has a cannon of an arm . They say he is trimmed down. Garcia has been working with him. There aren't a lot of negatives to signing him. Low risk.

Who in their right mind would give this bum a second chance. All he wants is money. He won't even get a real job to earn it. He's just a dumb bum. How can you really blow all that money that quick & let your house get foreclosed on when I could've had it paid off by then with the kind of money Al Davis gave him

I suppose that is possible if he can be signed cheaply. Hopefully, he has grown up.

( AHAHAHAHA(lol) i think the RAIDER nation is the only nfl team that won't give jalardass a chance. if "by chance" he steps on the parking lot with another nfl team, i think RAIDER nation will mug him to get every penny he has left of the money he received and took.
your gonna get one of these as a backup (qb) lbf. who do you prefer for your team of these two losers? jamarcus russell, tim tebow?
one only! you can't have them both! don't cry.

I've said the same thing myself several times. I'll take Tim Tebow over this guy any day.

There always is the issue of a possible QB controversy which is the last thing the Vikings need at this point. I would give Ponder another shot at it and if he fails this time, then consider bringing somebody else in as a possible upgrade. I can't help but remember that Phil Simms who rewrote the Giant passing record book until Eli Manning arrived never became the undisputed starter on the team until he was 29 years old.

He certainly does, but it is not too late for Russell to grow up and develop a work ethic. Sometimes a little maturity can go a long way.

On one hand, he is low risk if they can sign him cheaply. on the other hand, do the Vkings need a QB controversy to cause possible distractions in training camp?
