Suggs success has alot to do with Trevor Pryce being healthy. Is Suggs really doing anything different this year? The difference is he's not facing a double-team. Neat what a great player can do when he only has to get by one guy.

suggs is saying all the right things, only they sound like after thoughts when negotiations break down and he signed with another team.
this is a business first, he knows it and plans on acting accordingly. my brother lives in the phx area and where suggs gets his hair cut. the story from there is who ever has the most money has suggs loyalty.
his preference is warmer climate, he is from arizona. check the money availablity of warmer climate teams and who might be in need of a very good pass rusher.
i hope he stays, but iam dividing my eggs. go ravens

Good point. Suggs and Pryce make a good 1-2 punch. Need 'em both in there.

Suggs has to produce for the whole season to get his big contract, I think he will and he's likely to stay here.

Wait, Wait... You gotta be the dumbest person that knows how to turn on a computer. Not only did you come up with a horrible pun like Sluggs, you felt compelled to post it twice. Please just give it UP!

Ole Suggs "wants to be a RAVEN" until he doesn't get the mega-bucks that he THINKS he deserves, then he pouts and stays away from training camp like a little baby. I'm sure he'll play EXTRA hard this year so he can get his $$$$. He's a "me first" guy who celebrates every little tackle like he just won the Super Bowl -- I don't care if they sign him or not.

Preston,

You've been doing some good writing. Going out and finding the quote from Peppers was good reporting, and your insight is strong as well. There was a time over the summer when a number of your articles referenced "things" or "situations" but didn't have a source to cite. That's changed now, and it is improving the quality of your articles.

You know football, and you have access to the facts. When those two are put together, you've got the high quality articles that I have loved to read for the past few years. There have been some articles praising the Ravens, and some that have been critiquing, but as long as they are substantiated, I'm all for them. Keep up the good work.

I'm with you. The Ravens history has been marked by a long list of defenders who felt they were superstars here, and left for the big money, only to either get injured or fall into medicority. It is the supporting cast that makes these players great under this system, not the individual. Let Suggs takes his massive contract, and then we'll just relaod with someone else.

Adalius Thomas is still a beast. Suggs will be a beast too...somewhere else. We are in bad shape with the cap. Say goodbye to him this off-season.

t-sizzle has a ton of talent. but let's not get all crazy because he played well against the bengals and brows. both of those teams flat-out suck. he, and the rest of the ravens should just shut their mouths and PLAY. until they beat a decent team they have no right to trash talk,

Great point about the RAVEN's system being what makes half these guys great! Heck, look one Suggs did last year without ONE GUY (Pryce)!!! AD has NOT been a beast with New England, Ed Hartwell disappeared after leaving here for big $$$$. Don't break the bank for T-$izzle, just replace him with another hungry young LB.
