The Ravens are over, few comments to be posted anymore. Same old senerio, no quarterback, no quarterback of the future, no offense. Now the defense looks old. Time for a complete overhaul. I always loved watching that D terrorize teams.

the Ravens will do better next year? Who is Dan Reeves kiddng? We are about to embark on rebuilding this team since many of the regulars are getting older and can't do the job anymore. Better indeed.

Maybe we won't have 10 starters miss 5 games each next year like they have this year. Take 10 starters off of any team in the NFL and see how many would actuallly win 4 games. Ask the Rams, they lost 4 starters and didn't win one game until last week. You people are soooooooo short sighted and stupid.

What's to rebuild? You don't think injuries have had a HUGE effect on this team? Granted, many players on the Ravens are getting older, but Ozzie drafts defensive players so well that I wouldn't be ready to put them in Rebuild Mode just yet.

The Ravens just picked up some great linebackers in this year's draft. At least one or two of them should be good. Our young cornerbacks are getting some invaluable playing time this year and they looked MUCH improved last game. I think Samari Rolle has to go; other than that, why get rid of anyone else? We need to focus on drafting a good cornerback, but that's all for the defense.

The offense is a different story. I think Boller should be given all next season to prove his worth. He could be great. McNair should stick around, accept his fate, and focus on mentoring Boller in. Boller has such a huge arm and great mobility, it would be such a waste to give up on him just yet. The coaching is what has made Boller look ineffective.

Regardless of whether Billick remains the coach or not, I think we'll see a new offensive coordinator next season who will ACTUALLY call plays. This will be instrumental to Boller's continued development and improvement.

We draft a good QB prospect, a good corner, and we should be alright.

The sad thing is that the RAvens had the making of a dystany only if Billick wasnt so bull-headed and actually developed a nice QB...the team had so many chances to do so over the years...it would have saved the wear and tear on the menacing D...

Oh yeah, GO BROWNS

Rebuild? We have a good young Offensive and Defensive line, a probowl safety, a nice running back, decent LB even though Ray is aging. What we need is a CB and a consistent QB. Even the superstar teams like NE have deficiencies in many areas. Look at the Colts, with Freeny out and a receiver or 2 out, they are not worl beaters anymore

I was without football for sooooo long. When I heard the Browns were a done deal I was ecstatic, except for the name. I prayed the name would be changed. I love our name and I love our colors and the logo, I think they are awesome. Funny, but around the country many folks don't like the Ravens and many don't like our unis. I don't quite get that. Oakland moved twice and people still wear Raider jerseys everywhere, so it can't be that we moved. Titans moved out of Houston to Memphis to Nashville and you see Titan jerseys everywhere, so it can't be because we moved. Is it the Ray Lewis aura? Do people hate us because of Ray? If that's the case, wouldn't all these thugs that wear Raider jerseys be wearing Ravens jerseys too?? They aren't, so I still don;t get it. Anyone explain? Buehler? Buehler?

I still think Ozzie Newsome is a great evaluator of talent. But even he makes mistakes. He sure made a doozy when he allowed Derek Anderson to get away to Cleveland. Did he whisper in his bosom buddy Phil Savage's ear by any chance.

Yea, Rams too. I never see Rams gear worn by anyone. We are one of many teams that relocted yet we are scorned for it and not the others. Jacksonville will move to LA.

I am going to answer my own post. If we keep Suggs, I'd say we have a very good LB corp. We need a QB. Did anyone see the Oregon Arizona game last night? Oregon's QB Dennis Dixon went down, he was replaced by Brady Leaf (Ryan's brother). I swear, the team went in the tank after that. It was like watching the Ravens dink and dunk all over the place. The 10.3 yards per play went to 3.2 pp after Leaf came in. Long story short the D held nicely but the O just didn't have it. Just like the Ravens. Maybe we need to give up a little on D (not sign Suggs) and sign a good QB? Not sure if any are available. Don't say Derek Anderson, puh-leeze. Watch him this week, his time is up.

Dan Reeves said, "Teams like Cleveland, you keep drafting in the top five every single year, it's hard to do a bad job."

Hard to do a bad job??? Is Reeves out of his mind? Before Phil Savage got here, our drafts had more busts than Deal or No Deal.

take note, Dan Reeves is no longer an NFL head coach either.

This makes me laugh... all the years of freak injuries and bad drafts from (previous regimes) for the Browns, and we got no love or sympathy from anyone in terms of our situation. All we heard was, good teams have depth, its the system, not the players.
Oh, what difference a couple years make... NOW we get to hear the excuses.. I LOVE IT! desperate and laughable, especially with the egos & non-stop mouths on D..
Absolute poetic justice that the Browns can officially put the final nail in your 07 season.. and I hope its done in a dominate- demoralizing fashion.
Maybe we can even make Ray Ray finally stops with the "what time is it.." garbage

WOW... Way to jump out and talk trash now.. One decent season for the browns.. and I wouldnt even say good season.. they are 5-4.... 1 game ahead of the ravens.. you won't be talking so much shit after this weekend and get put back down another notch in the division.

And its going to be funny to watch derek anderson leave the browns high and dry after this year to go find the big paycheck.. Then what? you got the silver-spooned quinn.

Mike-

Do your homework...Anderson is a restricted free agent. The Browns can keep him for the right money. If he does leave, they will probably get at least a #1 draft choice as compensation. With Quinn in the wings, it's a win-win for the Browns, regardless.

Simply put one team has a football coach and the other has a Hollywood director.
