Let me guess, you could have won tonight but the referees blew 18 calls and Klay Thompson should not be allowed to play D1 Basketball because he is too good.

I recall the 8th place Pac 10 team rolling into the #2 SEC East rated team and handing them a beat down.

LSU didn't do too well in the SEC, but I think they came in first in the Sun Belt Conference.

Good points Steve...but any which way you slice it, Carroll makes over 4million p. er year and yes HE SHOULD KNOW what his players are up to - all 125 of them. Did the coaches just somehow forgot to tell Carroll that Joe was all of a sudden driving a Landrover?? Please, you gotta be kidding me. Is Carroll too busy to keep control of his program? Apparently so. Carroll is responsible
and no one else. Joe's goal is to come back and win the Heisman and the title, and he may be gone to the NFL because the coaching staff and school administrator dropped the ball.
How about a rim shot for the irony of the staff fumbling McKnight oversight!

We just need Garrett to ride off in the sunset this time, and get a real AD.

Bring back John RoboCoach!

Even if you beat BAMA, you would not be going to the NC game. What are you excuses for the Florida and Mississippi game?
<quoted text>
Florida Game-We lost! 13-3; Could've had re-match SEC Championship game had the refs not called such a terrible game in the LSU/BAMA game; and BAMA didn't have to play Florida during the regular season; Neither did Ole Miss! Ole Miss and Bama didn't play Florida; and we played Bama and Ole Miss at Bama and Ole Miss, respectively.

Mississippi Game-I didn't make an excuse for the Mississippi game. I just said that Les Miles lost that game; and, it was at the expense of an LSU team that was better than Ole Miss. Les Miles' time management costed us that game. Our players didn't deserve to lose that game. Les Miles is not as good as Houston Nutt is more like it. LSU's players, on the other hand, are better than Ole Miss' players. It was Les Miles lack of time management skills that lost that game, not our players. They just did what Les and Gary Crowton (our offensive coordinator, who sucks!) told them to do.........and, they didn't call time out until 9 seconds were on the clock with a 4th and 26 to geaux. The coaches should've called time out with 20 something seconds on the clock. So, when Tolliver caught that pass at the Ole Miss 5 yard line, there would've been around 10 seconds on the clock, give or take a second or two. Clock stopped on the 1st and 10. Then, there would've been enough time to spike it and kick the field goal to win the game, 26-25. The coaches were stupid! The players did what the coaches instructed, thus robbing us of a victory.

The coaches instructed Jefferson to spike the ball with 1 second on the clock; and, there's not enough time to spike it without running out the clock. The coaches lost that game, not the players or the refs. The refs called an even game, with the first quarter leaning towards LSU, and the second quarter leaning towards Ole Miss. The rest of the game was called very fairly.

Nevertheless, if the refs weren't seaux one-sided in the LSU/BAMA GAME and the LSU coaches weren't seaux brainless in the Ole Miss game, I believe we would've gone to the SEC championship game and had the re-match with Florida. Usually, teams that lose the first game during the season don't lost the re-match. EX: LSU lost to Notre Dame in Baton Rouge on Saturday, November 15 by a score of 24-6. I was there. It was at 2:30PM; and, it was televised on CBS. Then, 2 weeks later, on Friday, November 28th, we beat Arkansas in Baton Rouge 31-21. It was also at 2:30PM on CBS. THEN, CAME THE RE-MATCH ON THE RED RIVER (THE INDEPENDENCE BOWL) BETWEEN NOTRE DAME AND US (LSU). The game was played on a Sunday, December 28th in Shreveport, Louisiana........and, it was snowing and sleeting. It was COLD. I froze my @ss off!. It was played at 7:00PM on ESPN........And, LSU BEAT NOTRE DAME IN THE RE-MATCH, 27-9.

Re-matches are usually won by the team that loses the regular season game. Thus, we had an excellent shot of playing TEXAS FOR THE BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!! Only two things kept it from happening........THE REFS AND 1 GAME OF BRAINLESS COACHING BY LSU'S COACHES!:|

Steve said: Should have could have would have, USC could have gone 12-0 this year if Locker/Gerhart/Masoli/Foles all magically got the flu the week we were suppose to play them.
DV56 said: Talking about the refs and the players getting sick is comparing apples to oranges. Did the refs call a bad game in USC's 55-21 loss? Or, did the refs call everything for Oregon when Oregon beat USC 47-20. Rembember we just lost to Alabama 24-15; and that could've been 22-21 if the proper calls were called, not all in Bama's favor, none in LSU's. It was not even, even close to even in ref's calls. I didn't say anything about Jones, Cody, Mcelroy, Ingram, or Richardson not playing. That's not the same comparison that I'm referring to when I'm speaking of shyty refereeing. I'm sure that even a few calls geauxing USC's way wouldn't have changed USC's fate of getting their @ss whooped in those two games, especially. But, for LSU, in the LSU/Alabama game, had even that interception been called an interception with 7 minutes left in the game, we would've had a chance. There were 4 or 5 other very bad calls also favoring Bama. I won't even talk about USC losing to Washington and beating Washington.

Steve said: It is ironic to hear you complaining about referees, shouldn't you still be giving them credit for your two loss 2007 National Championship team.
DV56 said: You have to admit this is the year of the bad refereeing, referees gettin suspended and coaches being reprimanded and even fined (Urban Meyer was fined $30,000 for complaining about the refs); and, the refs had nothing to do with us winning the 2007 National Championship with 2 losses. If it weren't for some luck which happens in all sorts of ways, great teams don't win national championships. If it weren't for #1 or #2 at the time, West Virginia getting upset in their season finale 13-9 and #1 or #2 Missouri losing in the Big 12 Championship game,#3 Ohio Sate wouldn't have moved up to #1 in the BCS and #4 LSU wouldn't have moved up to #2, thus setting up a BCS matchup between Ohio State and us in the 2007 BCS National Championship game; and we beat the previously undefeated #1 team in the ocuntry, Buckeyes 38-24, deserving to be the 2007 BCS National Championshiop. Besides, we lost those two games in TRIPLE OVERTIME; and, the SEC is the toughest conference in the nation. A 1 or 2 loss SEC team is as good as any undefeated or 1 loss team in the country. FACT!
