Bradford didn't just last "a little more than a quarter." He was in for virtually the entire first half, during which the OK offense generated one touchdown drive of 35 yards. After he left, the OK offense generated two field goals. Don't blame the OK loss on Bradford going down. Don't "judge" based upon what they did without Bradford. Look at the whole game. BYU's defense was just better than anything OK was ready for.
BYU's offense outgained OK all game long. And BYU, like OK, had to replace four O-linemen. Unlike OK, BYU also had to go without their leading rusher from last year and one of their top receivers.
Injuries are part of the game. If a team can't survive 31 minutes without one player, they aren't going to make it through the BCS, anyway.
