New York Jets planned to use Tim Tebow as running back

Jan 8, 2013 Full story: USA Today 13

The New York Jets had a vision of Tim Tebow being a versatile weapon for them in 2012, and they surely tried to make it happen by lining him up at quarterback, H-back, personal punt protector and blocking back on shotgun passes.

And General Custer planned to use Reno's batallion to attack Sitting Bull's flank.
So much for plans

Tebow kind of reminds me of Custer. His men loved him. He was long on courage. Short on execution, unless you count the execution of his team by his mere presence

Why criticize Tebow !!! Who was the supporting cast around him last year?
What did he do in Denver when he started ? He won , he was an inspiration to the whole team !!! Compare that to a lot of NFL teams with supposed better QB's that had worse records !! You mean to tell me that he wouldn't make adifference on many teams !! You criticize him because he doesn't look like your standard QB'S !! With 32 teams in the NFL he would make a difference on many with a coach that would adapt to what he did at Florida.
The wildcat is not what he did in college!!

Here come the Tebow Haters of America- he is a good quarterback needs a chance to play his game. People like Merrill Hoge (ESPN) doesn't like him because he' s not his kinda man- ya know the ones who wear tights- but not the football kind, now if Tim could just see his way to wear a little lipstick, Merril may go for him.

Tebow has a ton of heart ,and faith sometimes that's all that's needed .given the chance to play his game it
may open some eyes . His time with the gators was not a fluke

I have heart and faith in myself, so I too should be an NFL QB.

I get it:

Ricky Loves Lucy

Joanie Loves Chachi

Mikey Loves Tebow

You Tebow groupies couldn't tell inspiration from perspiration, yet you know something league players, GMs, and coaches don't. Sure thing, loverboys.

They all worship his schlong. It speaks volumes that a new coach in his beloved Jacksonville doesn't want Tebow for 2 reasons:
1) He's a poor quarterback for a passing league
2) His worshipers would never understand why he was benched and would start a social media war
So in spite of all the extra jersy sales, its not worth it

Well tonight the replacement quarterback for Tebow in Denver couldn't win the first game of the playoff using their experienced players. last year Tebow won the first playoff game using nothing more than rookie players and only played 1/2 the year.

how soon you forget. Tebow had to win the wild-card round and got his ass handed to him in the divisional round. Donkeys lost this weekend in a divisional round. If you would have taken all the Bronco points in December last year and added them up they wouldn't have equalled Mannings points

I saw Tebow run 15 yards and his feet did not touch the grass, but Jesus did a little better.

Patriots using Tebow's HUGE BACK as a stepping runway for Brady to run a touch down on the 1 yard line.
