What a joke! The best cornerback in the league and the biggest reason why the Jets went to the conference finals last year and the stingy Jets ownership refuses to pay him his proper worth.
Darrelle, if they don't pay you proper respect and show of their appreciation for your services, sit out the season and watch the Jets go 4-12 with their ridiculously mediocre and overpaid QB.
There will be a bidding war and you'll deservedly be the highest paid CB in 2011.

How freakin' stupid! The joke is idiots who don't honor their contracts.

Only people who were raisied by POS parents, who never taught them anything about honoring their word, would see this otherwise.

no way the jets go 4-12, you sound like a pats fan... even without revis the D is solid. and sanchez is still learning and has the best O line to guard him and the best running game to lean on as well. sanchez will be fine this year. as will the jets as long as they stay healthy. jets will win the afc east this year fins will be 2nd pats 3rd.

The issue isn't whether Revis is worth a raise. the issue is when do you finally require players to honor the contract they sign? JOnes did same thing. Had front loaded contract getting most of his money in the first few years and then cried in the last year about being underpaid and 'deserving' renogiation. Until a player accepts a player accepts a pay cut after 'under performing' the first few years(see Gholston), NFL teams and Jets CAN'T give in. ship his island to seattle or Lions. Where he can lie and say "it was never about the Money.. just respect" as he takes 5 years to see a playoff game.
