Baltimore Ravens Would Be Wise To Extend Dennis Pitta Sooner Rather Than Later
Remember this past offseason when the Baltimore Ravens signed quarterback Joe Flacco to the most lucrative deal ever for a QB? The Ravens gambled and lost on Flacco big time.

Can't access the whole article, but this part of the intro deserves comment, "The Ravens gambled and lost on Flacco big time." By what standard? What do you think is the goal of every owner, coach, player, and waterboy for every NFL team from the moment the Superbowl ends? TO WIN THE NEXT SUPERBOWL! If you offered any one of the 32 NFL team owners a guaranteed Superbowl victory and told them the cost would be to give a record-breaking contract to your quarterback in the off-season, which one wouldn't take that deal? And who's to say that if the Ravens had signed the contract last season, Flacco would have played with the same fiery motivation as he did in the playoff run? Flacco may have one more with that contract, but to say the Ravens LOST on that deal is ludicrous. Last time I checked, winning the Superbowl make you a WINNER!
