I hated that loss and so mad at them for not producing on their opportunities, but looking back on the season it's hard not to appreciate a 10-2 season! Especially when they were preseason picked to finish much further down! We've got a lot of young talent and an experienced QB picked apart 3 Freshman in the secondary and stayed away from senior Peterson!

In Good News for LSU... it looks like Gary Crowton is top choice for the ULL Head Coaching job! So with the cause of our demise gone we can move forward and look for some production out of our offense next year!

And bigdan... I know you dislike LSU, but I'll congratulate Notre Dame on their win over USC and their 7-5 record!

I dislike a fan of LSU a lot on here so I cheer for their failure to upset him. You have preobably got the most talented team top to bottom in the SEC, one major flaw, QB production. Those two reciever would be setting records if it weren't the case.

I'll be glad when Steven Rivers comes to LSU next year; and, I hope he's an impact player. I'm glad that Gary Crowton may be gone next year. That is good news!!! I was so involved in the LSU/Arkansas game that I didn't know hardly any other scores. This is one time that I'm glad Notre Dame won......because they beat USC!!! I do not like USC even more than I do not like Notre Dame, if that is possible. We need an OC that will turn our athlets loose. But, even more than that, we need one that will develop the quarterback position because that is the reason for our downfall this year. The players love Miles; and, I respect that. I wish Miles all the luck in the world if his players love him like that. They want to do well for him with his Mad Hatter title and all. They defend him like he's their dad.......a good dad, though. He loves his players like they were his own children; and, I respect that. I love LSU; and, whatever it takes for us to win, I'm all for it. We have a good family atmosphere on this team. But, some of the coaching has been very questionable this season and the preceeding two seasons ('08 and '09). I love my team.......THE LSU FIGHTIN' TIGERS!!!!!!!! Here are the present bowl projections in the SEC for this year, depending on what happens in the Auburn/South Carolina game and depending on the South Carolina game if Cam Newton is found to be ineligible before the BCS National Championship Game in Glendale. I really wished that LSU would've beaten Arkansas more this year because I already had reservations in both New Orleans and Glendale. Now, I've had to cancel them. I was going to the Sugar Bowl or the BCS National Championship game if LSU made it to one of them. There is still an outside chance that LSU could make the Sugar Bowl though. There is no Sugar Bowl rule that says that the Sugar Bowl MUST TAKE THE HIGHEST RANKED TEAM or if THEY LOST THE HEAD TO HEAD MEETING BETWEEN THE TWO SCHOOLS. Arkansas if now ranked #7 in the BCS and LSU is now ranked #10 in the BCS. That doesn't mean they have to pick Arkansas. But, it is likley that they will pick Arkansas. I've already cancelled my reservations for New Orleans anyway.:( Now, here are those SEC Bowl projections that I was talking about:

As much as I like LSU playing in Cowboys Stadium (aka Jerry Jones Stadium), I still don't get where they have Alabama as the SEC #2 taem and LSU as the #3/4 team? LSU is ranked higher than Bama in the polls...LSU #10 in the BCS and BAMA is #16, I believe. That's crazy (IMO).... But, I wouldn't mind LSU playing in the Cotton Bowl (Jerry Jones Stadium), though because I only live 180 miles from Dallas. But, it's still hard to understand how Rivals has Bama (9-3) as the #2 team and LSU (10-2) as the the #3/4 team.?????????

Auburn doesn't even deserve to geaux to the Independence Bowl in Shreveport, LA after they find out that Cama is actually the SCAM that they think he is!!! Auburn will have to forfeit all their games; and they won't even geaux to the Toilet Bowl...... LMAOROTF!!!!!!!

More money to be made having Bama there than LSU. Fewer people needing hotels and resturants if LSU is there. They can just go home when the game is over.

I hear that alot, but it's a big misconception. Yes, LSU fan "Could" go home after the game... But, sorry... you don't know LSU fans LOL... they won't go home! They'll stay and take hotels and empty every last drop of alcohol for every bar in a 30 mile radius!

well maybe but when i was talking earlier i was just shooting the breeze. everyone in new orleans always say they love LSU...they just don't want their moronic fans there. Not my words, it's theirs. They told me that the best Sugar bowl they ever had was Florida against Notre Dame......that was before they new I was a Notre Dame fan. Sorry if Moronic pissed you off, i was just repeating what they said. they said LSU fans usually can't pay their tabs is another thing. People from New Orleans don't really consider themselves from Louisiana, they consider themselves from New Orleans. Some of them are family and well they would know a whole lot more about it than you or I. I will agree that LSU drink more than they should though. The problem that I have always had with them is that they usually only know the final score, not what really happened in the game. that has always bugged me. I hope you aren't that way. Drink everyone under the table.

Being from New Orleans I can tell you the people you were talking to were most probably Tulane Fans! LOL... But, yes, there is most definitely a rift between New Orleans and Baton Rouge and it cuts deep!
