As a San Diego fan I know all about those quarterbacks that are supposed to be the next phenom (Ryan Leaf). I also think it is evident that just because you do well in college doesnt mean you will do well in the NFL. Remember Vince Youngs single handed beat down of USC in the national championship? As an avid Colts fan I am soooo glad we dodged that Leaf bullet.

At the very least, every NFL QB must be able to accurately throw the football.
Coming out of college everybody knew that Tebow's mechanics were terrible.
McDaniels had a man-crush, and wanted to "fix" Tebow, but the current coach has little interest in a project QB, so he's going with the QB that gives him the best chance to win now.
If you Denver fans don't want Orton, we here in Indy would love to have him. He is a whole lot better than the Collins/Painter/Orlovsky mess we have going on here!

Poor Tim Tebow is being held hostage. His hostage takers are paying him 10 million dollars and allow him to go anywhere he wants except during organized team activities such as practice and games. And all he had to do is play QB well enough to be a third stringer player. I wish I could be held hostage like that.
