Oct 25, 2009 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: The Scores Report

Posted by Anthony Stalter Following Notre Damea s 20-16 win over Boston College on Saturday, Jimmy Clausen went to shake the hand of Eagle player Rich Gunnell, who appeared to have a few choice words for the Irish quarterback.

After reading your article, which wasn't worth my time, you provided no new insight. It's pretty obvious by your article that you don't like ND or Jimmy Clausen and attempted to make the shove Jimmie's fault. I guess you didn't notice the BC played shaking his finger in Clausens face first...

Clausen should've walked away from the BC guy shaking his finger in his face, rather than pushing the BC player. Everyone knows they get the second guy usually..:) Clausen should've controled himself rather than losing control. He is the quarterback; and he needs more than anyone on the team to set the right example for the rest of his team........

Good W Saturday. QB settling down a bit. Defense played well. AU has a complicated offense.

Thanks for saying "Good W Saturday". I believe Jefferson just got officially initiated into the SEC by playing in front of the largest crowd in Tiger Stadium history against the #1 team in the nation. I think it made him grow up a little bit. He just happens to be the youngest starting qb in the SEC, that's all. Thanks for saying "The defense played well". They certainly did; and they're capable of doing that against ANYBODY too, ANYBODY!!! Just like they did against Florida and Auburn, back to back, really allowing 16 points. Those last 7 points Auburn scored was against our 2nd and 3rd teamers; I have very little to say about AU's complicated offense. I just know we shut them down just like we shut Florida down, buddy. Geaux Tigers!!!:)

the ghetto rat ran his mouth and Clausen shut it. If it was common of Clausen I would be worried about it, it's not so I am glad for it.

I watched the incident. Gunnell was being interviewed by a woman reporter with a microphone in his face. Clausen walked over and interfered with the interview. That was "cheesey" to say the least. It turns out that there was "bad blood" and a confrontation before the game. Sure, Gunnell put up his finger and waved it. Clausen then responded by shoving him in front of the reporter and on tv. It was obvious that he was wondering just why the reporter didn't come looking for him. He was jealous of Rich Gunnell, career receiver at BC. Gunnell signed with the Chiefs. Clausen is arrogant and insecure with "boatloads of potential". He needs to work on his character. If he does that, then there is just no telling where he will go. Montana got away with the arrogance. I don't think that Clausen can.
