It's not a black/white issue, it's a right/wrong issue!

Clearly this is a charge that is not to be taken lightly, but PLEASE RESERVE JUDGEMENT. There is such a heightened sensitivity surrounding NBA/NFL players especially, that the news reporting helps "convict" these guys even before all sides are heard. I wonder how many corporate CEO's got pulled over this weekend, I wonder how many NHL stars got pulled over this weekend..or soccer moms that had one wine glass too many. Again, this is a serious charge, but most americans have likely been in similar circumstances no matter what the time of day/night and although unfortunate, we are human. Besides, anyone who's heard Jevon speak knows that his normal tone could be deemed slowed or "slurred" as the cop alleges. Another thing that people are running away with is the "weaving" on the road. This could flat out be changing lanes without a signal for all we know. And where did the red eyes go? Steve was certainly targeted (I don't care what anyone thinks about it-it happened and he got off rightfully so), but HIS eyes were red. If Jevon was booked and out in an hour, this is the first time I've seen anyones eyes go from red to white in 60 minutes. They must give Visene away as a door prize at the police department.
I clearly feel a certain way about this indicident, but again, reserve judgement. This man has never embarrassed his employer and has been more than anyone could ask for to the community. Not because he was obligated to, but because he wanted to. |

I couldn't agree more! He is just following the standard example set by the cops. |

did anyone ever bring to the light all of the good things jevon has done for this world?? what about all the charities, donations and fundraisers??? He does not have to give away his hard earned money that he makes putting in those long hards days at practice. he's probably done more physical work and worked harder then anyone i know. and besides what about innocent until proven guilty. jevon smart as hell. last time i checked he graduated with honors and went to UF. if there were others in the car i dont think he would be driving. and for this being his first time in trouble and for being in the leage this long. cut the man some slack.
