i think i like the Giants going aftr Boldin before Edwards. Boldin is a big physical receiver and would fit well in the Giants scheme of things.

but either way, GET SOMEBODY. i dont think the team hads the time to wait for a draft pick to blossom into what they need. by that time the rest of team may need rebuilding. their time is now and next couple yrs so go get someone that will help you win now.

Yes, please deal for Boldin without having a starting caliber QB. That way you can give up 2 1st round picks and a good young player for a guy thats going to have a scrub throwing to him. Great idea.

Glauber i couldn't say it any better, I feel the same way, I think the Jets need to make a move for Boldin immediately, he's better than any player we can get in the draft...my only question is would Boldin want to play for the Jets, after we literally broke his face last yr.....although i believe Eric Smith is off the team, would he feel comfortable here...guess we'll see, but i'm alllllll for it.....

Why are Jets' fans upset that they play 4 games during the Jewish holidays? Football is played on when? Sunday !!!!! Christians consider every Sunday a holy day.

Jets - it would be a great addition to the team to finally add a breakout wide receiver. One minor problem: We have no quarterback. The Jets are fools if they think Clemens is the future of this organization. He was lucky to be picked in the 2nd round but he is a 5th rounder at best. His college stats were not all too great either. Good luck.

"One minor problem: We have no quarterback."

HA! Absolutely right. It seems like the Jets & everyone advocating that they draft Sanchez are subscribing to the "if we draft and pay him like a superstar, he'll BE a superstar" thinking -- which makes no sense to me.

jets should acquire randle el, at least he's got a few passing TDs in his history. then we just devise a play for him to throw to himself on the only passing play in the series (remember it's: run-run-pass-punt ---> sigh). go jets!

no more WR retreads. they traded away their speed WR in Santana Moss to get Colees mback. Chad couldn't hit Moss downfield so that Coles who could run the crossing routes that Chad's noodle arm could reach. they short memories as Coles has now twice been traded by the Jets over contract money disputes. THe last time the Jets sent a pick for a soon-to-be-star WR was Justin Mcairens... all that happened was Titans getting the pic and then Mccairens back a few years later. CHad couldn't clearly beat out clemens last year (as the vet he should be able to). With the ball control don't screw up field position offense, CLemens will do okay. NO more Vet QB stopgaps that don't bother to learn the OFF playbook. and just wing it...

self centered, lot of drops, bad year when the going got rough, few fans in the clubhouse -- are you serious in suggesting this is the guy we want on the team next year and should shell out top picks for? I say no way -- I believe in Reese and in those who craft the gameplans that we can succeed by changing strategy a bit and levergaing the strength of personnel. I wouldn't be surprised if the Giants take another WR prospect in the draft but also look to establish depth in their areas of strength -- O Line first and foremost.

FF to week 4, Glauber's blog..."why the Giants gave up such high draft picks for the disgruntled moody Edwards was Reese's worst move as GM"

Agreed. I think Boldin would fit in with the team much better than Edwards. The Giants need a replacement for Plax no matter what. We all saw what happened at the end of last year.

Giants should trade for Boldin NOT Edwards. Edwards has way too many drops and is an attitude problem. Haven't they learned their lesson with Plax?

Boldin is the answer to the Giants WR need. If they can't get him than draft one in the first round. I do not like Edwards...
