Just a bump in the road on the way to the playoffs. Bad weather, questionable officiating and all around poor play contributed to this loss. SF next, we need a good game to get back on track. GO JETS

This is not puzzling at all:

Another quality team showed up to play for both the first and second halves, unlike the Pats. This team also had an receivers with hands, unlike the Titans.

Take away phantom penalties inside the 5 yard line like at the end of the NE game which allowed Brett to overcome his short and goal Achilles heal.
Take away the normally stifling defense.
Take away the frequent kick return which should not be counted on and this was about what you would expect even with the bonus of two long Jones TD runs.

Actually, you can add back in some semi stifling defense and DEN still would have won since the Jets only scored 17

come on

It happens that is why they play the games. The Jets got beat. They did not play well. They simply lost. A good test will be how they bounce back after this defeat. You did not expect them to win every game the rest of the season did you. Lets go Jets......

"Same old Jets." A perennial disappointment to we loyal fools who call ourselves Jets fans.

Jets did what they do best - CHOKE. Giants are a given and that the media put the Jets in the same class shows that you guys have no clue as to what the Jets are really about. They are front runners who have no balls when playing "statement" games, which the Denver game should have been. How many times have we seen this act??? No fire, no intensity, and even Favre seemed to be lethargic as Cotchery, and Coles dropped easy passes and the defense put a lackluster offense in a deep hole. Nice going guys - hope you're all proud of yourselves.

In answer to wow's question of whether I expected Jets to run the table. The answer is YES!!! If they want to even be on the same back page with the G-Men - the Jets have GOT to stop taking lowly teams lightly and playing down to them, while they play up to where Jets were last few weeks.I agree 100 percent with Bristolstreet, Jets are always a disappointment when you expect them to shine snd prove they belong with best in NFL.

The Jets are just another AFC mirage. Like the Titans. They play in a weak division and play a last place schedule. In the NFC east they would be in last place.

They won't beat Pittsburg or Baltimore or NE or possible Indy in the playoffs.

The entire NFL season is really an excuse to eliminate the Jets from the Super Bowl.

They can't even make it to one to lose.
