Jets lose and Pats wins it's back to beeinig tied for 1st though Jets would own the in-division record tie-breaker. I prefer the one-game-at-a time approach. Remember when the Bills were 5-0 (0-0 in the division) and and their fans were practically printing playoff tickets?

Top seed? The Jets are 3 games behind the Titans meaning they need to run the table and hope the Titans lose 2 more games. considering they are facing the Lions, Browns, and Texans that means they NEED to lose against the Colts and Steelers.

The Jets need this while they are playing a strong Miami team that is only getting better and a Broncos team which if they show up with their A or B game are exceptionally dangerous.

The Jets won't run the table and them getting top seed, while mathematically still possible, is a pipe dream.

Jets passing defense not as bad as it's standing in the league. Jets have played two or three games where they played soft zones to eat clock (Arizona, New England), so Jets yards against the pass is a bit misleading. Jets should shut down Titans run game and secondary must prove that what I just said is true.

As a long time Jet's fan, I hardly expect the Jets to win out in order to gain home field advantage throughout the playoffs. That being said, I'd rather the Jets lose a very close, competitive game to the Titans this Sunday in order for them to gain the confidence they'd need to defeat the Titans in the AFC Championship game. It's very difficult to defeat a team twice in 1 season in it's own backyard. The Giants last year beat the Pats 'cause they learned how to play them when they lost that close game to them to end the season. Anybody out here understand or agree with my reasoning? After a loss this week to the Titans, I would expect the Jets to win at least 4 of the last 5 games to win the division and possibly the 2nd seed in the AFC. J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!!!!

not in LA. co ISP is there. what's wrong, can't accept the fact that even if they win they won't get the top seed? I hate to break this to you but most would agree. now, get back to your jocksniffing.
